I can echo and relate to the other reviews here. Looks like we've all had the same experience. I was a member here for almost 1 year. The location was very convenient for me and the owner seemed nice enough, but when i needed to cancel my membership, chris started to straight up ghost me and i was forced to cancel my credit card and get a new one in order to avoid getting charged again. I am disappointed to have been treated this way after paying him lots of money. I would have liked to be able to recommend this place but treating other humans poorly -- especially members of this laguna beach community!! -- is not something I can endorse, ever.

DO NOT BOOK HERE— Either this is a legit scam, or the owner Chris keeps on making the same “mistake” on purpose by over charging customers daily for passes they did not authorize payments for— clearly finding some financial benefit from essentially forcing people to resolve the issue with their banks rather than issue a refund (which he does by just straight up ghosting people). At this point Lght has taken about $200 of unauthorized payments from my account. I work at a non profit, and $200 isn’t a small amount for me. I opened two tickets through their website, emailed Chris, the owner— who promptly got back to me and provided his phone number in case I needed to contact him. About 2 email exchanges in he goes radio silent. I followed up 4 times via email now and have called his number unable to reach anyone for days now. This is an extremely frustrating situation, and if this is happening to multiple people, they either need to be investigated or something needs to be done to stop them from taking peoples money.

Beware this place could be a scam! I’ve booked a co-working room to meet with two of my coworkers on March 7th. I was coordinating it with Chris Meadows (owner) through the lght app, he was very responsive and helpful up to the day I booked the room. I was told to pay through the app using a “day pass” subscription, which Chris confirmed would be a one day charge. Starting March 7th I’ve been billed every day $29, unfortunately I did not realize it until yesterday March 14th since it was on my corporate card. I’ve immediately reached out to Chris through the app, opened a ticket in the app, texted and called multiple times to their number. No one has gotten back to me. Now I have to cancel my card to prevent further billing and I opened a dispute through my credit card. I really wanted this place to work, as I live near and this seemed like a nice local business. I really hope someone gets back to me but so far it has been a massive disappointment…

I highly recommend avoiding Lght Coworking at all cost. I paid for 3 separate day passes but I continue to get DAILY unauthorized charges. The owner will not answer my calls or respond to my emails or texts. Do not be fooled - the owner (Chris) was very professional and responsive while using the services, but now Chris will not respond to me since I've received 4+ unauthorized charges, which makes it clear it's intentional.

Chris built this facility for our community, and it's perfect! Lots of space and individual rooms, well organized and decorated interiors and furniture, all office supplies and equipment offered, large screens for zooms and speakerphones, quiet, and ample snacks and drinks. Chris, the owner, is super helpful in helping to to use the facilities, chatting with the space users. Once you're done, get a drink nearby and head on to the beach 100 ft away! My organization members, Laguna Ocean Foundation, love it! Thanks Chris.

This office has been perfect for us. We have a start up that is in the beginning phases of securing a location. For now this office has provided us a safe haven for doing interviews with potential staff members. It has everything we need from Wi-Fi to Netflix (there is a flat screen in every room) The candidates we have interviewed have all commented on how relaxing and professional the space is. Chris has been incredibly responsive to all of our needs and is extremely flexible in terms of how we use the space, “it was designed so that you could move everything around“. I asked him if I was able to bring in my dog and he said, “it’s a dog friendly office and there is a bowl of water waiting for her“. I strongly recommend you look into this workspace… It’s the only one in town and has been a huge help to us in so many ways…. it feels like a home office with a view of the ocean… I look forward to being there more often.

This is a really great co-working space so far! Love the aesthetic and sense of community here. And best part is its so close to the beach! Snacks, water, high-tech, highly recommend if you are looking to support small business owners in this community! You rock Chris! :)

Such an amazing Co-working space! I've been to quite a few others, and this office by the beach feels like home. Friendly team, tons of snacks! High tech. Absolutely love it.
