Levittown Public Library - Public library in Levittown - 1 Bluegrass Ln, USA

I'm conflicted in writing this because I love this library BUT...the eatery has become a madhouse due to the teenagers running amok in there at all hours. Loud and chaotic, chairs are often tossed about and garbage in various areas not cleaned up. It makes it distinctly unpleasant, if not impossible to use the eatery for it's proper functions. There is an entire section of the library dedicated to the teens, and they should be there instead of yelling so loudly you can hear them clear across the library! Frequent cursing and vulgar topics are discussed openly with children often passing through as their section is right next to the eatery. Makes it impossible to study or read in peace!

The best library! The staff are the best, programs are awesome. We use the innovation station often. My kids love Levittown library!

I have to say i was extremely disappointed at my visit to the library today. My daughter requested that we arrive right at 9 am so that she can quietly sit and look up some books. Unfortunately, the staff (4 females and 1 male) decided to take 58 minutes to discuss the following in a childrens area. We learned about an engagement party, who was there/ wasn't. Who enjoyed the party a little too much. We learned about Medicaid payments and rehab. Oh there was also discussion of adult books (again in the childrens area). One of the lady's fashion sense and how her husband will be buying her boots. Let's not forget the 15 minute talk about vomit being left in a garabge bin for days....... Not once did these ladies stop to take a breath, lower their loud overbearing tones or acknowledge that its a kids area!! They should be embarrassed at making a 8 year old leave because "its too loud in here mom and they wont stop" I also made a complaint during check out and thanked the two older ladies who were working quietly from 9am - 10 am! She said she will let someone know.

Oh my gosh, the Levittown Public Library is such a special place. This was a spot that I frequented often with my family throughout my childhood, I always loved coming here so much. There has always been an awesome selection of books and the staff were always so nice. The library's environment was always inviting, clean & well-cared for. I haven't been back for a few years now, but I'm confident that nothing has changed! If you're in Levittown and looking for a spot to check-out some books, you should definitely stop by! :-)

December bus trip They did a wonderful trip to sights and sounds to see David in PA. The play was truly exceptional! We had lunch at Bird in the hand, a smorgasbord restaurant which have so many choices of main meals plus soups, salads and numerous dessert and icecream bar to choose from that was delicious. Jackie and Hitomi were welcoming and so thoughtful throughout. They had surprised us with snacks going and coming with Water too. Overall a wonderful experience. I love the study room on the main floor near the elevators. It’s quiet and I can either read, study or do schoolwork with little noise or distraction. Spent a lot of time in that room during my doctoral studies. Great library asset!

I like this library a lot. Its has a nice quiet atmosphere with lots of places to sit, study, read. Their study room is big, the only issue is staff needs to reinforce rules of the study room. Its called a study room so people can quietly go over their thoughts and notes not so people can go eat and fall asleep in it. People now a days have no regards for others personal space.
