If you go to any coffee shop in all of Portland, this has to be the one! Ryan has so much experience in coffee and it absolutely shows. He puts so much care into each cup of coffee that he makes and his latte art is phenomenal 🔥 His espresso is absolutely delicious and made with such expertise. The space is clean and inviting with well thought out seating! The location is perfect as well if you’re shopping around Pioneer Square and need a pick-me-up! Overall, a 10/10 coffee experience!!
Cute vibe. I got the custard cream coffee I think it was called, not really my thing, it tasted very bland. I'm not sure if it was the coffee or preference, I'll probs be back and just try something else. The shop is in the lobby of a building. Thankfully, another review said look for the Chase sign, and that's how I found it. The guy there was super nice.
The coffee was absolutely lovely! I got the custard coffee (aka Cloud Cream Coffee?), which was fantastic! This hot coffee drink was delicious, beautifully brewed, and interesting, the topping was cool and delicate and only a little bit sweet. Somehow it walked the line of being an interesting coffee drink while still being coffee-focused. My partner got the Maple Oat Latte, which was similarly well-balanced and delicious. Also, the mochi donut was delicate and tasty (churro-inspired?) and the brownie was deliciously deep chocolate without feeling heavy. (It was also squishy/bouncy in a way that suggests it’s a mochi brownie.) And the barista was super nice. All around very lovely. Only knocked a star on atmosphere cuz it’s kind of a weird open kiosk by the door of a building, but it also had a takeaway window for warmer seasons.
Excellent for a small breakfast. The coffee shop is in a corner of the building and not very evident from outside (there is a Chase bank branch), and the pastries will be gone quickly, but it deserves a try for sure.
We had an amazing experience here! I ordered the Enjoyme latte and my partner ordered the Ethiopian drip coffee. The latte was not only delicious, but also unique since it had a layer of Injeolmi foam on the top (glutinous rice flour that tastes a little peanut-y). My partner also enjoyed his ethiopian drip coffee with its unique fruity flavor. They also roast their own beans in shop! The barista was excellent, very knowledgable, and friendly and willing to share about the coffee! The space is small but cozy, and this cafe is so underrated. I'll be returning for sure next time in Portland! The other coffee/latte specialty drinks all looked delicious too.
We stayed at the Hilton Hotel downtown for a conference, and got coffee from here 2 days in a row! Our barista was really friendly and remembered us from the previous day. Highly recommend the cloud cream coffee or maple oat latte. Seating & decor inside is minimal, but it's great for grab and go coffee. If you're looking for food for breakfast - Fried Egg, I'm in Love food truck is steps away in Pioneer Square.
I’ve got to be honest, I am typically a strictly americano or cappuccino kind of guy - but I kept hearing about Less & More’s Cloud Coffee brought up from some local baristas. I normally don’t like to indulge in so much milk but damn, this thing is stupid good. PDX, come in, take a break from the rain this fall/winter, and be embraced by the coffee here. The espresso pulled here is consistently good, which is my mark of a good shop and can be hit or miss at a lot of places. Less & More, Portland is happy to have you <3
A peaceful spot to enjoy some high quality coffee and very unique milky drinks. Unlike their original location, this one features a pour over menu of different single origin coffees with different flavor profiles. Each pour over I ordered over several visits were well brewed with a clear flavor, and some were truly exceptional (Colombia Finca El Diviso). If you've been to their original location you are probably familiar with their other drinks. I personally love the ssuk latte. Also known as mugwort in English or yomogi in Japanese, this flavor is hard to come by so seeing it in drink form was a real treat! If you like yomogi mochi (the green colored mochi with earthy herbaceous flavor, not to be confused with matcha flavored mochi) then you will love this drink.
