Leo's Coney Island - American restaurant in Ypsilanti - 3644 Carpenter Rd, USA

My family and I Love Leo's Coney Island. They make the best Chili cheese fries. The Patty melt, melts in the mouth, curly fries, cheese burger, everything is super delicious 🍔🍟😋 service was very fast. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff are super nice👌 HIGHLY recommend this place, and for sure, I'm going again very soon👍

Delicious food, friendly staff and quick service. This place is kind of hidden off the road but worth the stop!

My husband and I visited this place 01/03/2024. We were sitting down for 20 minutes and no one came to the table to take our order. There was a patron that came in after us and took a seat to the left of us, and right away the waitress came to their table. I consider that to be a disrespectful insult. We have eaten there many times before and this was the first time we were treated that way. I know they are short of help, but why serve someone else when we had been sitting for some time, especially when they arrived after we did. Finally we left to go eat somewhere else. A sad day for Leo's when you treat customers like that.

My wife and I have come a lot over the years. Never had a bad experience from any of the servers they are are all great. But the food lately has really gone downhill lately. Their hash browns now are like taking mashed potatoes and putting it on the flat top, their lemon rice soup didn’t have hardly anything in it and it just tasted off. We got a chicken fingers pita and while the chicken was fine the cheese was terrible. Looked like it was melted at one point but then got cold then served to us. And that’s just some of the things we’ve noticed the last few times we’ve been.

The food was good, the restaurant was very clean. This restaurant is popular as the place had a lot of patrons. My waitress Haley was very attentive, kind, and all around friendly person. I had the Greek salad and chili cheese fries. I will be back.

I usually don't go out of my way to post reviews, only at time when Google asks. But this time, I sadly had to. I've been to this place at least a dozen times and never had an issue before, but this I couldn't keep back. I often get the chicken lemon rice soup which is always great, chili cheese fries, club sandwiches, chicken tenders, burgers all good. I had the corned beef sandwich once before and it was pretty good but this time I was served the WORST corned beef sandwich I've ever had! I had even asked for extra meat but the meat on the sandwich was terrible because almost a 3rd of it was FAT! As a professional restaurant, why wouldn't you trim this?! I can't say I won't go back for my normal items that I like from there but I was HIGHLY disappointed with this visit and can't imagine I'd ever feel comfortable ordering the corned beef sandwich again. Such a let down! ☹

Everything was fine until the bill came. There was a different price for cash and card. I pointed out that this was my debit card. My words fell on deaf ears. For this reason I will never go back to this location. I do go to another location that doesn't have this policy.
