Leon's Family Dining - American restaurant in Livonia - 28904 W Seven Mile Rd, USA

I was there for a baby shower, so i'm sure things are different when just dining in. The place was very busy. The staff was great. I would definitely stop there for lunch or dinner, If ever in the area again.

Very helpful and friendly service. Food was served quickly and was pretty good. My mashed potatoes and carrots were cold but my chicken fried steak and the gravy were hot.

I haven’t been to Leon’s in a couple years because of moving and other crazy life changes, but always enjoyed their food and had a couple favorite waitresses. It was really nice to see Wally again, who remembered me. My dad even had a good association with a previous visit. I did have a problem for the first time ever, another customer (Lisa, if I remember correctly) noticed and helped before I said anything, and Wally was awesome about the resolution. I was so thankful for the kindness of both, that I had to say thanks again, publicly… As far as the food goes, I think there’s a different cook now, but the beef barley and potato soups are still absolutely delicious! The portions are very nice for the price. Whenever I’m in town, I’d be glad to drop in again. If I’m not mistaken, there was some remodeling probably thanks to Covid concerns about keeping restaurant customers safe, but the place was still familiar- just now with nicely done decor. I did miss the waitresses that had been there, and Wally personally cleared our table, but I understand that the past couple years have been tough for business owners with staffing. I hope there continues to be more content customers than disgruntled…

That was my first time going in there having breakfast. The Waitresses that they have are very elderly (not discriminating) they are slow about bringing you additional condiments and items. I ordered a BLT and hash browns. a very sloppy sandwich was not put together. The hash browns, there's nothing about those potatoes spell hash hash brown. Yes, the Waitresses may greet you with a smile, but they are very slow at getting around they need to hire some more help in there. I personally think the owner/manager either been cheap or very complacent. By not hiring the correct amount of help. I WILL CONSIDER GIVING THEM ANOTHER TRY.

Our waitress Kim B was the best. She joked around with us and made us feel like we were ment to be there. We will for sure be back to see her.

I got frozen, overly breaded shrimp i couldn't even taste. The waitress asked me what I expected. I said fresh cooked shrimp. She asked where in the world they'd get that and reiterated that this was Leon's. My friend had to choke down a mouthful of salt in her sandwich and the fried mushrooms were cold. 40 dollars!! Never again.

The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Hats off to the chef and they give you plenty!

Food was ok I'd go again. Had fish and chip's definitely the pieces could be bigger. Soup bar is really good.
