Beautiful coastal views and rock outcroppings and sea caves make this a spectacular spot to take photos especially at sunset. Also cool spot to relive some nostalgia from the Karate Kid movie.
It is a beautiful spot and a gem in Southern California. I would caution parts of the beach because the waves are pretty strong therefore if you have little ones keep them close and protected. The park rangers are very helpful and nice. Make sure to check out the caves during low tide. The high tide may prevent you from seeing the caves.
Great beach to surf or snorkel, sometimes slightly easier to find parking over Zuma so that's also a plus too. Go swim in the pretty seaweed and find yourself some crabs to get pinched by.
Loved the rocks and sea caves at this beach. There was a dog friendly beach and also non-dog beaches. Parking is across the highway for the sea caves and is $3/hour or $12 for the day. We went at low tide and we were able go explore all of the caves. Great spot for bird watchers and isn't very busy and cleaner than most beaches along the hwy.
Beautiful beach to explore. Great place for the kids to swim and find creatures in the tide pools and amongst the rocks while the adults can have nice romantic teams on the beach. Great caves too for the whole family to discover for themselves
My family and I visited Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu. It was so beautiful, aesthetic, and peaceful. The ocean is clean, clear, and appealing. We had a relaxing time. It's so refreshing.
Really cool beach. We saw a lot of interesting animals in the tide pools. However I wish we got the earlier and parked on the side of the road and walked down to check out the tide pools when the tide is even lower. The facilities by the beach are in disrepair, no working foot washing stations and only one sink working. You have porta potty for bathrooms. I'd expect better bathrooms for a state park.
We are camping here now. Great view of the mountains with the beach just across PCH. The rangers were also very polite and friendly.

It is a very rocky beach not good for families or day trips for tanning unless you're willing to sit on rocks. Not too much sand great to look in the rocks for sea critters though. If you just an adventurous person.
Eagle Rock has a beautiful view and is a fun hike with a few routes to get to it. I hiked up from Penny Rd, and parked my car halfway between the trail access point and Topanga Canyon Rd. It was just under 2 miles to get to Eagle Rock, with about 1,0
Highly recommend- short (about an hour from beginning to end) but scenic and peaceful. The continuation after the first peak is the best part of the trail. Lovely brush to walk through until you reach the last plateau.
Take your friends, family or c
Highly recommend for anyone that is not hauling any chairs or coolers. Ok if you plan a small picnic with blanket, umbrella, and a few sandwiches and drinks. Kids and pets should be able to handle the hike down and back up, just make sure you have th
Customer service was the best . The staff made sure we were comfortable and checked on us regularly. The view of the beach is so relaxing. Food was better than ever .
It was very very clean. you can find garbage cans to dispose of your garbage.
There is a lifeguard tower.
The view is spectacular, you can even see an island across if the sky is clear.
There is a little road that brings you to a parking but you have
Very limited parking and not very good if your car is lowered. We parked a little ways before the entrance and walked the rest of the way. Breathtaking views though.
It's great, please don't come here. Would much prefer to keep it to myself ;)
Lengthy walk down steep stairs, typically big surf. Keep an eye on the tide, if you're there for long enough your towels can be in danger!
Nice walk up from the PCH. Not an intense hike, but great for an early morning walk. Many neighbors walking dogs. Lots of deer so mountain lion sightings have been seen in the area. Fairly quiet.
Glad we picked here for a late lunch, they have a relatively fast turn over rate, were able to find parking and a table on their patio overlooking the ocean. Foodâs fantastic! Tried the fried mixed sea food and steamed mussels. Both great! Fresh se
