Lenape Heights Golf Resort - Golf course in Ford City - 950 Golf Course Rd, USA

My husband and I had our wedding at Lenape Heights 9.23.23. Honestly, we were very impressed by all of the package options for food, drinks, decor- they even have an inn we stayed at the night before the wedding and night of the wedding! Melissa was extremely responsive to all of my emails and questions throughout the planning process. Jocelyn was our day of wedding coordinator and did a fantastic job. We unfortunately had to switch our ceremony inside due to weather last minute and she was on top of getting things changed for us. She also kept checking on me and my husband throughout the night to make sure we were okay. Her and the staff made sure we had drinks of our choices at the bridal table along with appetizers and cookies from the cookie table! The food was also fantastic!!! They made sure we were well taken care of. The staff and Jocelyn also did a lot of set up for us (we did set up our own decor, but they did table linen, table settings, decorated the cookie table) and the next day they had all of our decorations down so we could easily pack them back up how we wished. They made the experience super easy for us and would recommend Lenape Heights to anyone for their wedding day! Thank you Melissa, Jocelyn and all of the staff for making our special day perfect!

We did a 4 day "stay and play" in August, 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The rooms are Euro-modern and they spared no expense in the top quality bathroom fixtures and windows, and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I can't say that I love the rainfall shower head but it looks nice. The view from our room of the rolling golf course and for miles beyond was exceptional. The included breakfast is ok, pretty standard hotel fare, but the food in the nicely appointed dining room with comfortable indoor seating, or alternate outdoor patio seating, is very good with a varied menu and friendly servers. The golf course is long, rolling, and mature in very good condition with well maintained and true greens. Apparently it has been in operation for over 50 years and I found it more challenging than most of the courses I play. Overall I found Lenape Heights to be a really good and reasonably priced get-away and I'm looking forward to going back.

beautiful golf resort, beautiful room with amazing sunset views. we stayed in the executive suite so quite roomy and homelike. two bathrooms, king bed, large tub and large shower room. highly recommend this for that area. will be wonderful in the fall when all the leaves change. the golf course was great and the staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful. only issues we had was that the door in first bathroom was so heavy is took two to open or close:) and the drapes were very hard to open and close because of the height, maybe just blinds would help so drapes could remain intact.

We recently held our rehearsal / dinner, ceremony and reception at Lenape . We also stayed at the hotel on site. Our event coordinator was beyond amazing to work with. Organized with every detail. The day of wedding, the other person was by our side to help make the day special. We were greeted with warmth, welcoming and professionalism. The grounds are beautiful, venue is superb. Hotel is beyond words. Highly recommended

We have stayed here several times without issue. However we recently stayed during a snow storm and learned that this place has horrible customer service. Many people including myself slide down the hill leading to the inn. We are from New York and the front desk, including the general manager, told us it is up to us to get our car from out the snow where it was stuck. They did not provide any towing phone numbers at all. Then when I put my review on Booking, the general manager lied and stated we were provided with towing numbers. Now I see why this place is never booked up and pretty cheap. Look elsewhere for somewhere to stay.

Our first visit to the golf course was pretty good, poor rough conditions but no problem, the second time we were asked to leave and given a "rain check" because the staff wanted to go home early on Labor Day. Me and my two brothers along with my cousin all work different schedules, so it was hard for us to find a day to get together to golf in the first place. They stopped us on hole 10, gave us the passes and told us to finish this hole and head out. Kind of annoying, but we understood and it was nice to have been compensated for the inconvenience. When we used our rain check passes, We were informed at the bend that a golf league had started at 4:00 so we should let this foursome in front of us so they can stick with the golf league, no problem at all for us, three of us went in the use the facilities, when our group is ready to go, The other foursome still had not teed off, act only two of them were there, I politely drove over to ask the starter to make sure we were good to go ahead and tee off because he had just told me 5 minutes ago to let this force him in front of us. He very rudely waved me away and said "JUST GO TEE OFF, they're OBVIOUSLY not ready YET so just GO". All four of us are beginners, we love the game and are having fun learning, it's a shame that all four of us have agreed to never return here because of the rudeness of the staff. I believe the man's name was Bob. We obeyed all rules of the course, were courteous to other golfers, never raised our voices to Bob after that either, just said "okay thanks" and drove up to the tee box. But we just did not feel respected as paying guests. Hopefully others have had good experiences!

What a fantastic place to stay. The setting was quiet and peaceful which helped after a very long day of travel. My room was very spacious, clean, bright. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our family met there from all for corners of the country. It was wonderful to all be together in such a beautiful spot.

I never make posts about this but I am… our wedding was on Saturday (9.2.23) and my whole experience with Lenape Heights Golf Resort was awful… the venue, hotel and golf course are absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing but the workers there are so rude and full of attitude. We had 2 guest arrive as they were putting food away and they asked for a plate and were told no bc they are putting it away… even though we paid for them to eat and we had food left over that we were not allowed to take with us (which i get bc it can be a safety thing but we had food to give our guests but they wouldn’t do it)The venue said they would take care of the cookie table and set it up for us but at the end of the night the venue coordinators were no where to be found and then told us we have to put away ALL our left over cookies right now or else they will be thrown away….. I thought that was extremely rude that they would throw away our cookies that all our loved ones made and not even care (bc we had until Sunday to clean out the ballroom) they also took away all the water early in the night and we RAN OUT OF BEER around 8pm… which was the one of the things my fiancé told them was make sure you have a lot of beer bc our guests (194) can drink a lot of beer… and Melissa said they will not run out and they will have plenty…. then when we were signing the contract and I brought both sets of parents with us and Melissa made the comment “oh you brought your whole family” (with an attitude) then that attitude continued after we signed. I asked what they do to help me on the wedding day since Melissa told me I DO NOT NEED coordinators bc they have them through the venue (Jocelyn)… then I was told I don’t meet her until rehearsal and by the paperwork I got it looked like she didn’t do much with me, just did stuff for the venue.. on the timeline Melissa gave me it said “if you NEED Jocelyn let the hotel know… I shouldn not have to tract down my coordinator she should be tending to me. That made me nervous bc for me I have never been in a wedding before so I had no clue how everything went and most of my bridesmaids it was their first wedding they have been in… so we needed some more help then what the venue was providing…… So I hired 2 wonderful coordinators which Melissa and Jocelyn did not like that I got outside people but I had to since they do not know how to run the place and by other reviews looks like they are ruining the place with the lack of communication and making the bride feel awful. While my husband and I were out getting photos on the golf course Jocelyn called the golf ranger 5 times to tell us to get back and hurry up which I get you gotta stick to the timeline but she was extremely rude about it…. It was our day and the attitude she was giving us was extremely unprofessional… my coordinators were keeping an eye on the time and we were fine… it’s a shame bc the venue is beautiful … just not the workers…
