Cosy pub with ghostly connections! Nice food and a great atmosphere. Interesting and well maintained interior with friendly and attentive staff. Good food too!
One of my favorite dining spots in prospect height! Both brunch and dinner are amazing. I love their drinks too! If you go there for breakfast, definitely try out their coffee. I love their animal styled creamer pitcher. It adds a lot of fun for breakfast!
Lovely experience. A beautiful and fun space in Prospect Heights with a great vibe and wonderful staff. Loved how friendly everyone was despite being busy. Our brunch was flavor packed and the homemade breads were fresh and light. The sausage, egg and cheese was excellent- just a bit on the salty side. The entire dish was consumed but would've loved something to balance the salt. Regardless, very unique menu and we look forward to returning for dinner.
Nestled somewhere in the delightful, albeit slightly ambiguous territory between Prospect Heights and Crown Heights (or is it Crown Prospects? Prospect Crowns?), lies a charming American restaurant that captured both my palate and my heart. This bustling eatery, a vibrant mix of Brooklyn's eclectic essence, is as much a culinary destination as it is a testament to the unique character of the area. On my recent visit, the first challenge was deciding whether I was in Crown Heights or Prospect Heights – a local quirk that adds to the charm of the place. Jokes aside, what's unmistakable is the inviting atmosphere that greets you the moment you step in. As a walk-in on a busy evening, I found myself comfortably seated at the bar – a stroke of luck, or perhaps just Brooklyn's way of saying 'welcome'. The bar staff were nothing short of phenomenal, blending attentiveness with a flair that's uniquely New York. Now, let's talk about the food: the roasted chicken was good, but the real star of the show was the roasted potatoes. Surprisingly, these humble spuds stole the spotlight with their perfect blend of crispiness and flavor, a testament to the kitchen's skill. For those planning a visit, I'd recommend making a reservation to avoid the wait, but if you do find yourself at the bar, you're in for a treat. Another aspect of the restaurant that deserves a special mention is its spacious and impeccably clean bathroom – a rarity in the city and a reflection of the establishment's attention to detail. The overall ambiance was exactly my style, blending a casual yet sophisticated vibe that's perfect for both a night out with friends or a solo culinary adventure. In summary, this American eatery in Brooklyn is a delightful blend of excellent food, warm hospitality, and a unique atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a place that warrants a visit – just don't get too caught up in figuring out which neighborhood you're in!
Celebrated my sister’s wedding here and Leland made it the most wonderful experience possible. Amazing food, hospitality, and atmosphere. Leland is the perfect place for an event or for a dinner with friends! Can’t wait to go back.
So glad I came across this place on Instagram! Had a work lunch with a colleague during vinyl hour and the food/drinks were absolutely delicious. Everything is made in-house and fresh. The bread and butter was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. They even split servings into two so that my colleague and I could try more things. Make sure to try the mix of their frozen margarita and Negroni! A perfect summer cocktail. Fabulous lunch. Will be back.
This place is definitely a vibe. The staff are all amazing and informative and just over all make this place worth going to. The food was good, i would definitely try the specials. Make sure come early if place orders for pick up because they do sell out fast. So some items on the menu won’t be available even if u have a resy lol it’s just that good.
Leland is the kind of restaurant you wish was on the corner of every block (and selfishly I'm very happy we get to claim it in Brooklyn). A quintessential neighborhood spot, you feel like a regular from the first time you visit– which must be part of their magic, as I'm now a regular. Randi and Jeanette have curated a space and dining experience that's warm, inviting, sexy, thoughtful, and undeniably delicious–– think your favorite version of everything, but better. I've been not only for brunch and dinner (it's as great for a catchup with a friend as it is for a date night) but to their butcher class, lead by master-butcher, Gary, and Chef Delfin. It was a one-of-a-kind experience, and I left the evening a far more educated diner than I walked in. The staff are kind, insanely attentive, and-- gorgeous? Can I say that??? Everyone who works at Leland is gorgeous!! Also an incredible people-watching spot if you snag a seat on the patio. A 25/10 experience every time, Leland is an absolute can't-miss.

Had such a good dinner here. Food was amazing, as was the service. We loved sitting by the bar to watch the preparation and meet the chef. The celery salad, tempura squash, and sticky date cake were personal favorites. Weâll be back!
