This was an amazing old location with plenty of charm. So thankful to have experienced it this weekend. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. Homemade breakfast was a delight. The house was amazingly decorated for the season. I look forward to returning here again soon.
It was an absolute delight to stay here. Marie is an exceptional host. The house is beautiful, very clean and filled with art. The care that Marie puts into the place is evident everywhere you look. I am sensitive to scents, so it was wonderful to stay in a place that does not use scented laundry products or glade plug ins and similarly scented items. This is so rare to find. Thoughtful touches in our room included Gilchrest and Soames toiletries, heated towel bar and delicious German chocolates. Parking is easy, the neighborhood felt safe and we had easy access to everywhere we needed to go in the city. Breakfast is delicious and filling. We felt so pampered while we were there. Her scones are out of this world. We had a room with a bathtub (Nora's room) and it was so nice to soak in. I look forward to whenever we visit St. Louis again just to stay here.
The Lehmann House Bed & Breakfast always offers a wonderful place to stay with easy access to the metro area. The rooms are comfortable and offer amenities found in the best hotels in the area. The location and neighborhood are park like and very walkable. Gourmet breakfasts served in a beautiful dining room put this location above the other lodgings available in St. Louis. Marie is simply a wonderful host.
We return to the Lehmann House for several reasons. The house has so much character and charm and Marie is a wonderful hostess. |The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very modern. Our room had a balcony where we drank coffee and ate Marie's cookies. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with its Federal style homes. | We cross the street and walk the Lafayette park each morning. Fine restaurants are within walking distance. We have also walked to Cardinal"s games.|The breakfast Marie prepares is exceptional! The antique table is set with fine china and the food is always a high point for our stay. Marie serves fresh fruit, freshly prepared breads, eggs dishes, fruit juices and other wonderful foods.|We will definitely come back.
My son and I booked a one night stay at the Lehmann House to celebrate his high school graduation. It was a phenomenal stay. Upon arrival we were greated by Marie and she gave us a history of the house along with our room keys. Marie was awesome!!! We loved her stories and hearing her experiences. And the breakfast, she prepared was awesome!!! I am never going to stay downtown St. Louis again.
Our room was filter clean and furnished with lots of period pieces. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home.
Now, the main reason we ended up at the Lehmann House was the possibility of having a ghost adventure. My son is very much into that activity and it was great walking the halls and common
areas doing some amateur ghost hunting. Unfortunately that meant we were using phone apps to detect and they probably weren't super accurate. But, we will be better prepared next time. Our only unexplainable experience was waking up at 4:00 am to the really strong smell of coffee in our room. We don't drink coffee and we're assured nobody was brewing at that hour.
Despite no luck with ghost hunting, the Lehmann House may be my favorite place to stay when in St. Louis.
Enjoyed our stay with Marie very much. Beautiful home, comfy bed and excellent breakfast! We enjoyed her tea and coffee station, as well. The neighborhood is very charming and the parking was very easy and accessible. Marie is very kind, charming and enjoyable to visit with.
Lehmann House made a great "base camp" for a cycling weekend on the Katy Trail, being only a 30-minute drive from some convenient trailheads. Our room was clean and spacious, and the morning breakfasts were delicious. Marie, the innkeeper, was fun and interesting, sharing stories and information about St. Louis.
Lovely old brownstone mansion. All the rooms are comfortable (I'm a regular) and beautifully furnished with antiques. The food is excellent along with the overall atmosphere of the entire place. You will find it a very enjoyable stay.

Went to a late night concert at Off Broadway and stayed here afterwards. Nicely decorated, spacious room - and I love the 1890s architecture. This part of town has so much character. The innkeeper and his dog were friendly. Will definitely stay again

Out of this world experience to be able to hear from the chef before each course is served. As a fan of Missouri history, to learn and taste recipes that are over 100 years old is a gift. Restaurants like this usually only exist in New York or overs
