The condo was very nice and is great for couples. Only thing that would be an improvement is beach/pool towels and hair dryers in both bathrooms. We have stayed in this condo 2 years now the location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and just across the street from the beach. Will definitely be back!
Wife and I have stayed here two years in a row and have found our favorite relaxing getaway spot. Obviously the units are individually owned but we have now stayed in two that have exceeded our expectations. Property is fantastically landscaped and maintained. Ocean views are incredible. Amazing view while preparing meals in the kitchen. Perfect location in Miramar Beach just a short distance from restaurants and sights driving the scenic highway along the coast. We will return annually.

Let me first say, I was concerned about having to cross the street to get to the beach but turned out to be super easy and safe. There are crosswalks everywhere and cats drive slowly down this road. As far as the Leeward Key complex, it is very well kept. There were people constantly mopping the hallways and the elevator doors, etc. ||||Now as far as the condo we stayed in, 1104 it needs some help. ||Beautiful balcony view. Pull out beds mattress was worse than sleeping on a beach float. So thin and hard. Ceiling fan in master bedroom couldn’t be used because it shook so bad, it looked like it might fall. The furniture is not very beach looking like most condos that have bright beach like colors. I saw the pictures on VRBO, but it looked much nicer in the picture. Couch was worn, the dresser in the master bedroom almost made you throw your back out trying to pull the drawers open. All the plugs in the condo only had one of the plug ins working. We had to unplug each of the lamps to be able to plug in our phone charger. It just was old looking and very sparsely decorated. Owner needs to update for sure.||||If I could I would rate the complex a 5 and the condo itself a 2.
Leeward Key is wonderful with great views and in a great area! I will never stay here again and I hate that because of the beach service. I was asked what time i will come to the beach? I have an 81 year old mother and we can come to the beach when she feels like it. My daughter is on major rest from finishing first year in medical school so she wants to sleep in. We paid the beach rental company for an extra set up-(2 chairs and 1 umbrella because one set comes with the unit). We had to pay $230.00 for this extra set up for 6 days and we have to tell the guy what time we will be at the beach and if we move out of our chairs he will remove our beach towels and bags even if we go up and eat lunch or run to the restroom!!!! The customer is always right and I have been coming to Destin since I was 5 years old. I am now 63! I have never heard of such ridiculousness!!!!!! Have to move on from such a nice place!
A friend and I shared a two bedroom condo while chaperoning some college spring breakers (who did not stay with us). Our unit was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and had an outstanding view of the Gulf. We were on the 9th floor, so noise from the road was not an issue. We did use the beach chairs available with our unit, but did not use the pool, although it was beautiful and looked to be well used by the residents. I will definitely stay here again!
We have stayed here for over 20 years. There’s a reason we don’t go anywhere else. Location is perfect, common areas are always clean, views are fantastic, the choice of two pools is incredible, and the Miramar/Destin area is the most beautiful panhandle spot in existence!
Family visit, loved the close location to beach and gorgeous beach views from the master bedroom and family room. The upgrades we’re very modern and the condo was spacious. We didn’t want to leave! Pool was on the beach which was nice, and parking was easy access!
