Leeds Memorial Park - Park in Leeds - 1159 Montevallo Rd SW, USA

Gosh, there are so many wonderful things to say about this specific park. The veterans memorial was built to remember our warriors for our freedom. My uncle was the one who provided the input for this project. I've been several times with friends, pets, and of course lunch. There is also a creek that runs through the park. It's a very nice place.

My son loves this park. I can't seem to find the restrooms. All I see are porta potties, but I would still highly recommend this place. Awesome park to visit!

Great place to go for a walk have a picnic or let the kids play. A very nice clean park with a little something for everyone. They even have a cute little book nook, to find a book or leave one. I guess one of my favorite things is the love locks on the bridge. Take a lock and that special someone and add your lock to the bridge. Visit Leeds Park for lots of fun, love and adventure.

Beautiful park. Shady and inviting, a dog walking environment. Most people are reasonable enough to leash their animals, but occasionally there is a person who doesn't. Bring your own doggy bags, they may or may not have any available.

The event was the Creekbank Festival and Car Show. It's a well manicured park with pedestrian bridges and pavilions, alongside the memorial to fallen solideirs from the past. The park is very shady with established trees with playgrounds sprinkled throughout. Great venue for vendors and a large car show.

Very nice, clean, fresh cut grass, different playground equipment for different ages, not accessible for wheelchairs, there is a creek to fish several port o potties, baseball fields, walking/jogging tracking, pavilions and picnic tables and benches throughout the park.

I greatly appreciate when local municipalities pay contribution to their veterans. This memorial Park was well put together but sadly maintained tribute. The flags they fly are weathered in distressed. The gravel used in the landscaping is cheap. The bushes are inside condition. If I were not a sojourner I would definitely petition to have this memorial reconditioned. As far as the playground it was very small for the toddlers. They did have a very large slide playground but is age restricted. It did have a swing for the disabled and toddler swings. The park was clean and quiet. The downside was the parking. as you're trying to get out the stroller from the trunk people were buzzing by closely and with great speed. Be careful.

Leeds Memorial Park is the best playground in Birmingham. With three story playplaces and an old fashioned merry-go-round, it can't be beat. The natural part of the park surrounding the creek is gorgeous, and the whole park has a lovely view of sunset. It's a great place to end a beautiful day.
