The Falls were overflowing, bursting at the seams! I've been there in the summer when you can walk all the way up to the base of the waterfall. But on this trip I couldn't get within 150 ft due to the volume of water rushing down the creek!
I absolutely love this spot! It's a bit of a drive to get there, but the view is worth it! The trail from the parking lot is clearly marked, and there are a couple of picnic tables along the way. The waterfall is breathtaking. I could sit there by the river and listen to the water for hours. It's a very serene area. The only problem is there aren't any bathrooms, but it's worth it.
Ours was a brief visit visit after seeing the cataract from the road. We had a time limit, and two brief walks did not reveal a marked path to a viewpoint visible from the road. Signage to locate the falls was limited, and the park that encompasses the falls has no signs marking the park or its boundaries, and there is no paved parking lot (that we could find) that serves the falls park or provides access to a walking path to any viewpoints. This is an undiscovered gem. An area with a lot of potential, it deserves better.
Wrapping up 2022 with some beautiful nature. Just a short walking distance from your car. Saw Salmon at the end of their journey, a hawk with salmon in his mouth and of course the the gorgeous waterfall in all of its glory.
What a great stop coming from Jewell Meadows! Make sure to put in GPS for Lee wooden county park. It was a quick turn after you see the brown park sign, small parking area and doesn't list info about the trail. You will see it off to the right and between trees. It took about 20 mins max to walk in and reach the falls. We stopped to take pictures and walked slowly to enjoy the scenery. 7 months pregnant and it was so easy for me. Flat rock trail and we were the only ones there for the entire time. Maybe about an hour total. We sat at the picnic bench and had a nice snack and listened to the nature sounds before heading back. One other car in parking lot then showed up. What an amazing little stop and hidden gem :)!!
This park features a gorgeous waterfall. It is a very short hike. There is a stone parking lot. There are no restroom facilities. Well groomed trail with wooden bridge.
Just beautiful. The falls is right off the road with hiking loop going up both sides. 3-4 miles to do the loop. The bigger Multnomah falls is just about a mile further down the old highway.
A gem of a small park with a jewel of a water fall. The day we were there I noticed very little flow in the creek as we hiked up the trail. I was impressed by the volume of water on the falls.
The trails are well maintained and there were several places to sit by the creek on a hot afternoon.

It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl

Love this store. She carries great local jams, syrups, nuts, wines, chocolates and other yummy things. She has a wonderful selection of Dean Crouser art things. Coasters, wall art, stickers & more.
The gentleman there was very helpful and informative. I loved the calm atmosphere with a hint of excitement. Talk about memories. Better than a Blockbuster. Took my son to experience and learn a little something about real movies. I see a new traditi

June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
My family and I absolutely love this place! Iâm always craving their Banh Miâs, Beef Pho, and Pork Bao. We get it often and never disappoints. Lately weâve been getting it to go, but dining in is equally as good. I always reccomend to friends a
The ABSOLUTE BEST COFFEE. My wife and I are from the Midwest and we were in Oregon for 2.5 weeks and stayed in the Beaverton area. We fell in love with the coast and came across this shop when we went to Cannon Beach. We fell in love that we stopped
Really cool place! This is an old theatre and we got to watch the Seahawks game New Years Eve here on the big screen, how cool is that. Good Brewery food and brews.
Navigation is questionable with permanent road closure not being accurately marked on maps, but otherwise absolutely amazing, breathtaking views and a healthy abundance of nature therapy.
