The splash pad was great, the kids had lots of fun. The park itself is small, there's a small area for the kids to play, tables for a picnic and grass area, bathrooms...HOWEVER...the homeless people live here and take up the grass area and the bathrooms, they also use the splash pad area for a shower, when I was here the Whittier police came and made some of them leave. This park was recently re-done and is a cute little park, fairly clean, and definitely be better with out all the homeless people sleeping in the grass area.
I took the grandkids for a day out. It's was a very nice experience. There was a life guard on site, and the park was very clean. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there is limited shade. While there is plenty of seating and some nice trees that offer a little bit of shade, there are some benches that get nothing but sun. Perhaps they may want to consider a few sun shades in the future. But if you don't bring your own shade ⛱️ you will get burned. I also recommend bringing your own chairs if you want to sit comfortably. There are several picnic benches if you take lunch for the kids. But those do get taken up fast. They even have an outdoor shower to rinse off. However, I didn't see anyone using it, so I'm not sure if they are working. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will be going again.
Its a beautiful well kept park with clean swings and play areas. Best to be there when there's more people as there are homeless that hang around there and the bathrooms are disgusting. Also not a dog park but people still bring their dogs (not cool)
The splash pad for the kids is awesome but hard to enjoy it when there's more homeless people walking around looking like zombies and others just sprawled on the lawn with ALL their belongings than there is families and kids enjoying the amenities the park has to offer, makes it look bad and unsafe for children to be there. Not to mention the restrooms 🤮
The park is awesome. Great place for my two toddlers. And the water ends at 4pm.
Very clean very nice quiet except for the children's laughter's. There is a 7/11 across the street for old drinks n snacks if need be. I will go back every chance I get
Beautiful & really clean kept park but way too many homeless here that it doesn't feel safe at all. Splash pad does not work and I was here 12pm to 2pm during on Memorial wknd.
So much better since they remodeled the park! Very nice. My daughter loves walking to this park.

I love the Michigan Park that's named after the street where I used to come with the community group playing fun games and eating BBQ meals with hot dogs and hamburgers. It's nice and lots of fun!
This park is really big. Lots of free grass area for the kids to play on. They have a little zoo for the kids to see. The playground is nice except for the currently broken big slide. A little muddy in the winter time, but its a great park.

Such a friendly staff and such delicious food! My sister and I got carne asada nachos with beans and it was one the most flavorful nachos that Iâve had for a while. The meat was so tender and flavor and paired so well with the pickle onions. The bu
My kids elementary school band performed there this evening. Nice little theater. You can see pretty good from just about any seat. I parked in the library parking lot right across the street... Don't know if it's allowed or not, but I did and didn't
Treat yourself to Local Fixture's Coffee & Tea, honestly. The building itself is very warm in the summer but their cold drinks are refreshing and tasty. Definitely give your phone number for the rewards at the coffee counter, i love getting their te
Amazing sushi spot in a centralized part of Whittier. Love the family feel it has and will definitely be coming more frequently. No set omakase menu like I like it!
Jenny's has been a special breakfast place for many, for many years. I was so thrilled to have a morning time that I was able to drop in for biscuits & gravy. My #3 son ordered a Mexican breakfast which he ate everything. Jenny's is the hometown type
A gem coffee and liquor shop in a chill neighborhood. - Vibe: ample space with limited seating. - Shelves of wine and liquor and infused coffee. - To go or dine-in? This is not a place to rush in and out, it took 10 min at least to order and get the
