An excellent trail system of well marked hardened gravel roads and paths. Sturdy well built bridges and information kiosks add to the experience here. These trails are on the edges and through the middle of an old native graphite mine that was eventually associated with HD Thoreau’s family pencil business.
Great place to hike with kids. You can pick if you want an easy flat walk or if you would like to hike up the mountain. Such a wonderful surprise tucked away.
I love this spot! The flat easy to hike paths and the smaller more challenging woodsy ones are all beautiful. If you have just a short time you can do a loop or you could spend two hours exploring all the paths. So much to explore! The turquoise pond is amazing. I spent 30 minutes just watching turtles play on a log. Highly recommend this hiking spot to anyone. Great for any age and experience level.
i really have to collect water samples and do some historical background study really loved this place, want to take my niece and nephew 1) super peaceful 2) the beauty 3) the sounds 4) short hikes also would love to study the plants and take water picture, it was super pretty the rock place was interesting. went to early, need to check out the marshes when they grown in to see how it looks like did about 4 trails wirh a friend within 2 hours and found tons of (i think) chipmunk holes maybe coyote/fox/rabbit holes on the knife trail coming again and also visiting the village (sturbridge village) next door downside, no public restroom also it was a little tricky with the trails but its small so its hard to get too lost
We walked the Arbitus trail. Nice and wide, easy to navigate even if you have special needs. There is one area that is uphill but not steep. The blue lagoon is a highlight along with the stone pillars. The kids had a great time ages 5-17.
Very nice trails for everyone! It can get busy there on the weekends, so I like to go during the week. Depending on the time of the year, it can be nice and quiet or sound like you are standing right next to 84 (guess depends on the weather and which way the wind is blowing?) Definitely worth a visit!
A favorite in town. Great for kids. Quite a few different trails. Can be a quick hike or take several trails for a longer hike. Some flat and very easy and a couple that are a bit more challenging. Can get buggy (you are in the woods after all) so be sure to wear some bug repellent if that bothers you. Highly recommend.
Amazing aquifer fed pond with an aqua and emerald color throughout due to the minerals coming up from deep within the aquifer. These pictures have no filter on them at all.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere at this super goovy craft brewery. It's also cool to sit in the brewery itself to enjoy beers and food. Lots of beers to choose from in a lot of styles: IPAs, DIPAs, lagers and a bunch of seasonal favorites. Sample
It's beyond amazing to have a place like Cracker Barrel near us. The food and service was beyond amazing. My mom and I went there for breakfast and it was as amazing as I remembered it being as perfect then as it was now!!!
If you go to any Dunkinâ often, you know what to expect. This location doesnât hit the mark 100% of the time but Iâve stopped there a few dozen times over the last 3-4 months. Compared to the locations around me just outside of Boston, theyâr
I ordered the mushroom burger. It was huge but very very juicy. The fries were good. The food was yummy. The restaurant itself could use some updating and maybe spring cleaning when staff arenât busy (instead of sitting around talking like they wer
