Le Piano - Jazz club in Chicago - 6970 N Glenwood Ave, USA

I went there on a date. Coxy and classy decor / atmosphere is the perfect place to spend some much needed down time. Be it that you're just out as I was, or you're celebrating an anniversary/ birthday etc. you should enjoy this place. The music was great, the food, great staff all leads to an unforgettable experience. We loved Le Piano. I believe you will as well.

A friend recommended this spot, and it was exactly what we were looking for – secluded and oozing nostalgic vibes. We decided to go for street-side parking and found a spot just a couple of blocks away, which wasn't too much trouble. Since we didn't make a reservation in advance, we were pleasantly surprised that we were seated within minutes of walking in, likely because we arrived early. Although we didn't order any food, we all relished our cocktails while being serenaded by some soothing jazz. The aesthetics of the place were delightful, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. A special shoutout to Nora for her fantastic assistance with our orders and moving us when new seats became available! We're definitely planning a return visit! In fact, I've already recommended this place to a couple of my friends.

From the moment we found this Parisian inspired jazz lounge tucked into pedestrian only spot by the L train, we were giddy with excitement. Through the giant glass windows, you can see a faux fireplace, chairs and lights strung across the way and instantly feel like you’re across an ocean in a faraway country. The service was excellent, the lamb chops and potatoes so delicious that we had to order a second (they are small portioned plates to share) and the absinthe service just divine. A superbly unique experience with a super tight jazz quartet that was talented enough to perform at a far bigger venue…but since we had a front row seat on an antique toile settee from France, we were lucky that they were right there playing for us. This hidden gem is now my new go-to, must-do when visiting the north side of Chicago!

Absolutely over the top. Early August Wednesday night visit during Brazilian Latin Jazz all was outside as the cobblestone street is blocked off for tonight's performance. Chad says they have each performance outside as weather will allow. Food was well and tastefully prepared. Lamb chops, chicken with wine sauce, mixed greens, baguette basket, wine and beer choices, -nice wine selection. Service very good. Ambience both inside and outside for tonight's performance is "european neighborhood" to us.... just beautiful. We used both the purple and red lines from Linden...Crazy easy (18 min. for us riding the cta) to get to -off the Red Line at Morse Ave. - venue is just off the stairs from this cta platform on the West side of the tracks. Conveniently located. All very well done 👍.

Amazing piano bar! Experimental art piece every night where they play a video and do a spontaneous song on the spot to go with the video. Beautiful place very cozy

Do you like great food, great drinks, fantastic live jazz music, a cozy atmosphere, and impeccable service? Then this is the place to be. My wife and I came here to celebrate my birthday and wow how impressed we were! The brussel sprout appetizer was phenomenal. Packed with flavor, seasoned to perfection, one of the most impressive dishes I've had in a long time. The prime rib was nice and the accompanying potatoes were a burst of flavor. The lamb was even better in my opinion and should not be skipped out on. For dessert we treated ourselves to beignets and the chocolate ganache. Both were fantastic ends to our our already impressive meal. Paired with a nice Malbec wine that was recommended by our bartender as well as the stellar music performance, it honestly could not have been a more pleasant experience. If you are debating whether you should come here or not, let me save you the trouble; DEFINITELY visit this place. 5 stars without a doubt.

I absolutely love this place. The food is good, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is hard to match. Brazilian Jazz on Wednesdays is so chill, the band is great. I am hesitating to share this place with friends, because this has become my secret spot, but the place definitely deserves more publicity. Thank you Le Piano ♥️

I can't say anything negative about Le Piano. First time there and I'll be back for years to come! The atmosphere was very unique and welcoming. The staff were great as well! We had Gregory to help navigate the menu for my partner and I and he was witty, tactful with his recommendations, and receptive to us as guests. He was definitely part of the reason I loved the place, and it's hard to find people like him in the service industry. Now onto the menu, it has limited (10ish) cocktail and limited(10ish) food but everything they make is truly crafted to perfection. Nothing was overboozy, nothing under/over salted or lacking depth or flavor. All the food we ate had a well balanced combination of flavors so they definitely know what they are doing in the back of house. I really appreciate that the menu has enough options to give you true variety but keeps it simple enough to where you can't get lost/overwhelmed in the menu. Truly shows how well they understand balance. Next is the interior of the establishment. Again, incredibly unique in its arrangement of seating and placement of piano. Everyone was enjoying the jazz quartet outside but when I went inside to use their facilities I had to stop and admire their interior design of the place. They keep the lights slightly dim to where you can see your surroundings and everything inside but not bright by any means to strain your eyes. The seating is generous as well as the types of seating they offer. The price was also very fair for what they provide in terms of ambiance, atmosphere, sophistication, elegance, service, quality of food & drink and overall feel to the establishment. I hope my review has persuaded you to check them out for yourself. While I'd love to keep this Rodgers park gem a secret it definitely deserves to be shared with the community!
