Absolutely beautiful. My 3 adult daughters and I traveled to Carmel for a girls trip and Le Petit Pali just made our trip. Beautiful property and exceptional service. We chose 1 room with a pull out. The pull out was not ideal, a little noisy and not the most comfortable. But rooms are not likely meant for 4 adults. We had a blast together though! Rooms are well appointed-lovely bedding, decor and bathrooms. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Location is idea, we never used our rental car, walked everywhere. Really everything we could have wanted for our stay in Carmel.
Great location nice stay recommend for weekday only.
Attention to details, some design
touches, amenities in the lobby and the room. The buffet breakfast services was good, bread was good. Free bicycles was nice but the staffs didn't let us know until we discovered when we checked out. The location is unbeatable.
• The room size is actually a bit small. It is a motel renovated nicely with details.
I paid about 220$ on a weekdays plus a surprise "resort amenities fee" of 42$, during high season or weekend they may charge 3 times which is not worth it, there are actually a Comfort Inn right next to it which charge 25% less if you just need a simple inn with location.
This is a gorgeous hotel centrally located in Carmel. The room is very tastefully done, and the service is impeccable, with lots of little extra touches (cookies, chocolates, champagne breakfast). We had a wonderful stay and left feeling very refreshed. My only feedback would be to use cheddar in your grilled cheese, not American cheese!
This is a fine pet-friendly hotel option in Carmel. The rooms are quite stylish but lose some points on functionality. The bathroom door is far too small, leaving about a three-inch-wide side gap when shut. There’s no AC and while the ceiling fan helped, it was also low enough to give my carelessly raised hand a thwack on our first night. If you’re on the second floor, be aware there’s no elevator. The nightly cookies are a nice touch and the rooms are Instagramable to be sure.
For the pups, there’s some planted dirt areas for bathroom breaks but the large park across the street does not allow dogs.
This hotel has location on its side. The outdoor space, free bikes, and dog friendliness is a plus. The room is stylish but minimally FUNCTIONAL.
Pros:
- location
- dog friendly with a fee
- evening cookies before bed
- outdoor seating with fire pit
- easy parking— something their sister location doesn’t really have a few blocks over
- rooms have a personal fire place
- free continental breakfast
cons:
- bathroom door doesn’t close all the way so no privacy
- no A/C, windows do open though and there’s a ceiling fan
- lighting mostly lamps, but vibey
- no elevator
A special stay to fully recharge and be showered with little delights along the way. Everything is carefully chosen, highest quality and charm.
The cookie delivery service and breakfast alongside the charming staff and sparkling wine on arrival all make for a memorable stay. Highly recommend!
Very cute hotel, extremely esthetic, but very pretentious and borderline unpleasant service. “Complimentary” breakfast and nightly cookies are not so complementary as they charge you an additional $40 a day “resort fee” (with no way to opt out). Happy hour is only on weekend nights, and it’s not possible to order a glass of wine (we were willing to pay) in the lobby if it’s not Friday or Saturday. Room was extremely hot the entire time and there was no AC to cool it down and shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor.
Already can't wait to go back! I stayed here on my honeymoon and had a fantastic experience. The whole place is so charming down to every detail and the service was wonderful. Some highlights of our room included the gas fireplace, the complimentary rosé upon arrival, the espresso machine, and comfy robes. Petite Pali's "champagne continental breafast" was beautifully presented and delicous with a great variety of options. They serve your coffee in fancy teacups! Lastly, the location is excellent for walking to all the shops and restaurants in Carmel.

Such a pleasant stay at Tradewinds! This is a dog friendly inn on Mission street, just a few blocks from great shopping and dining. The hotel was quiet and my room had partial (and beautiful!) views of the ocean. The check in service was great and ea
My favorite beach on the California coast! I prefer it in the winter when it's less crowded. There's always, always, people on it though. Beautiful waves, soft sand, lots of space to walk at low tide. It's a great place to bring your dog but be aware
Sophisticated and cool with unusual, unique, quality merchandise. Several lines are Italy direct exclusives. I went in to purchase their vegetarian make up (no chemicals) and the soy based nail colors but found so much more. There are gift items for
Nice little town on the way to Big Sur! Each of the shop and/or property here are aesthetically decorated and taking a walk worths it. Free street parking available for limited time frame so watch out. Several gas stations and restaurants are around
Really perfect place for kids to play. The water is warm and clean, and there are a lot of pelicans resting in the river. Besides, you may explore the sea creatures in the rock such as crabs, hermit crab, fish, and sea ââurchin. You can also rela
