The wedge salad is made to feed a hungry belly. It was huge and dripping with the right amount of toppings. The jalapeño burger had me wanting more after every bite. Delicious! Service was on point even with a busy Sunday with an after church lunch crowd. Our waitress was awesome. She was attentive with a side of humor! Great experience
I had the grilled lobster tails. They were small, but 3 of them got me full for sure. Loved that they were grilled. My son got the salmon, and it was great as well. My wife got the shrimp gumbo, and it was very good as well. Could have had a few more shrimp. Sue also got the blackend scallops very tender and great seasoning. Also had the seared tuna as an appetizer. I could eat that as my meal .lol We will be back.
One of my favorite Amarillo eateries! Micci runs an amazing restaurant. All of the food is fantastic and fairly priced, especially the lunch specials. The Salmon Monica is my favorite dish and the fried clams with malted vinegar are a great treat. The shrimp and scallop chowder and crawfish bisque are also favorites of mine and pack a nice Cajun kick.
Ordered on doordash… paid $8 for the gumbo and the container wasn’t even full it looked like someone ate 1/2 of it. And the nachos were suppose to have crawfish and they didn’t.
My husband and I normally like to get recommendations from the locals while traveling and the front desk girl mentioned this is one of her favorite places. She was spot on! The Lazy Gator was amazing. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He made our visit a lot of fun, especially about spice tolerance! 😂😳Our food was delicious. The owner came over and introduced himself after our server told him we were from Pennsylvania and explained he designed the menu. Lots of options to choose from and we only wish we were in Amarillo longer to go back and try other meals. We also noticed the owner was not afraid to pitch in and help his employees. He was behind the bar serving drinks, seating people, and going from table to table asking if anyone needed anything. The Lazy Gator is definitely worth a visit!

I like Taco Villa in general but this location has THE best staff. They always ask if all is good after I get my order and sit down. They are always cleaning and refilling the products and condiment bar. Truly impressive!!!

The welcome we received was exceptional even though we were not Veterans. A gentleman walks around with you and tells you stories of local Veterans and then they allow you to walk around by yourself. Very inspirational and real. Stop by and see them

Nice brewery with plenty of choices for the beer enthusiasts including a âdark IPAâ that was unfamiliar to this connoisseur. Favorite would be the I-40 IPA(crisp bite), then Fast and Hazy(super hazy) followed by Let the People Dance (very lemony)
