It was my first time at Laziz in Midvale and it was PHENOMENAL! The service was awesome, the recommendations and friendliness was top notch. We got the hummus with Pita and Veggies which they offered more of each for the rest of the hummus for free SO NICE! Also got the salmon tacos, and chicken wrap so juicy and flavorful and fresh 10/10 dining.
Delicious! So many unusual and unique options, all with incredible combinations of flavor and color, making it difficult to decide what to order. My Sister and I shared everything we ordered and really didn’t have the ability to eat all of it. Mouthwatering Grilled Halloumi Cheese, Mediterranean Platter with Grilled Chicken and The Kafta Burger and side salad with fresh house dressing. Everything was so fresh and beautiful. Our server Paul was beyond helpful, describing each dish to perfection and answering every question we had. He took all the time necessary to make us comfortable and help us decide what to order. Laziz is not the usual Mediterranean restaurant, but a step above. Definitely worth trying. We’ll be back! Handicapped accessible, indoor and outdoor dining, plenty of parking and super clean.
Looking for a Mediterranean dining treat? Laziz Kitchen in Midvale has changed things up for the better. It wasn’t busy and the staff were so attentive and accommodating. The dining room was appealing. Check out our pics. Let’s talk about the food. We started with dip sampler. The presentation is colorful as the dips are tasty. We are curious how much of one dip you would get for $11. For &14, we got our choices for a trio of very tasty and flavorful dips. It would have been nice to have a little bit more of each, yet perhaps a sampler should leave you wanting more of something. For dinner, we chose the Shakshuka and Kafka in the Lebanese Bowl. It was promising. Yet the Shakshuka description talked about a feta cheese garnish and drizzled honey. I didn’t see or taste any feta cheese or honey drizzle. The eggs seemed over cooked and dry for being poached. Overall it was served hot and was okay. The Kafta was flavorful elongated meatballs. There were 5 of them in the lentil and rice pilaf. The salad seemed ordinary and basic. The caramelized onions were cold and we are left curious if that is the way they were supposed to be. At the end of the meal, we questioned the value of the meals for $18 each. They certainly have some other good choices on their manageable menu. We might want to give them another try, yet for the $62 experience, we might want to try something else. The choices are tempting. The attentive service makes a big difference and we left satisfied.
It was last Thursday night that we came to the Laziz Kitchen. Lovely atmosphere, great service, and I left feeling pleasantly full and healthy. The menu is full of gluten free options; great for my gluten intolerance. My husband and I began with the sampler dip plate. We chose the baba ghannouj, the muhammara and the beet dip. It came with pita bread and veggies. The dips were all flavorful and we cleaned the bowls, it was that good! I ordered the Lebanese bowl with kafta. I enjoyed the variety of flavors and textures on the plate. For me, the caramelized onions would have been better warm. My husband ordered the shakshuka, a tomato based dish with poached eggs and lamb meatballs. Full of flavor, the eggs were unfortunately very overdone, so what was a good dish could have been better. Overall, my experience at Laziz Kitchen was great. I will be back to try more of the offerings on the menu!
Laziz was super yummy and flavors I don’t usually try. I got the fried chicken sandwich which sounded more exciting than it actually was but still good. The Lebanese bowl was awesome! Very flavorful! I forgot to get pictures of everything but the muhammara dip and sweet potato fries were also delicious. Just be prepared that there is a base price of each meal but it you want protein or fries it cost extra. Very pricey. The service was great! We had a larger party and our server took very good care of us and gave us lots of good info because none of us had tried this kind of food before.
Excellent food. We got the fried chicken sandwich, salmon taco and beignets. Everything was excellent, service was great. Dillon was a great waiter. Will definitely be back.
Delicious and extremely dietary restriction friendly. The waiter was kind and helpful with customizing food. Cauliflower, hummus and pita, fries, and the falafel wrap were all delicious. Cauliflower was seasoned to perfection. I cannot wait to go back. Their lemonade is so refreshing and unique. New favorite place of mine.
Very tasty! The falafel was more dense than I prefer but was very crispy on the outside and large. The little bit of hummus in my bowl was excellent -- I'll definitely order some on its own the next time I'm here. The lemonade was very refreshing. I didn't get much of the rosewater flavor, but the orange was pleasant. The interior was decorated for halloween which was a fun touch!
