Layton's on 92nd - Breakfast restaurant in Ocean City - 9200 Coastal Hwy, USA

The food was exceptional. A great home town breakfast. The eggs and pancakes were delicious and the coffee was point! Definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

We ordered the kids pancakes and a plain waffle with whipped cream on the side. The waffle was very dense and hard to cut, almost like it had been sitting awhile and was reheated. I mentioned it to the server who said only that she would let the kitchen know and we were handed the check. There was no offer to make an adjustment to the bill or to get a manager. At the register we had a look at the "fresh" donuts because I needed to bring one back for a family member. I mentioned the issue with the waffle again at the register. She apologized and gave me the $1.50 donut for free. The donut ended up being just ok... The employees were friendly, the service was decent, and we enjoyed the fish tanks. The down side was that we spent over $26 before tip for half a waffle, side of bacon, kid size plain pancakes, kids lemonade, and 1 coffee. I even went back to make sure I had paid the right bill because the total seemed too high for what we got. It was another chance for staff to make a change, but they just validated the total and thanked me for feedback. I never like leaving reviews that are not 5 star because running a business is hard work but without feedback things can't be addressed and fixed.

The food was delicious! The service was great! It felt like a small diner! I got the grand slam with the blueberry pancakes! They serve scrapple here as well! I highly recommend! We'll definitely go again!!

Laytons on 92nd may be extremely busy and parking is at a minumum but you get served fairly quick. Their food and drinks were delicious. Recommend their freshly made donuts.

Food was really good but service was bad. We only saw out waiter twice. She took our order and brought our check. It was difficult to get drink refills. When we sat down I had to wipe our table and seats because they were still dirty.

This is a great spot for breakfast. They have just enough items on the menu to provide options, but my children do not take forever to decide. They offer everything you would expect for breakfast like, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, and biscuits with gravy. They also have all the sides including fruit and scrapple. The hash browns never disappoint. The service has always been great, every time we visited. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the Layton's on 92nd if you're in the area.

Unpretentious but don't overlook Layton's. Server Amy was on top of every aspect of our breakfast. Our group enjoyed scrapple, which isn't that common on menus anymore and don't miss the chipped beef. Prompt refills of coffee with creamers on the table and we were set for our morning on the boardwalk.

Been getting breakfast here for years and always feel like I got my money's worth for a great meal. It's not fancy, it's not overly innovative, they just have very good food at real competitive prices. Service is always good, always seems like there's like 1 wait staff per 3 tables. It gets busy pretty quick so you'll need to come early. They also make fresh donuts.
