Everything you want in a fair. Carny rides and games, sideshow attractions like monkeys riding dogs, and wolves of the world, all sorts of fair food ie; hot dogs, corn dogs, pizza, kettle korn, ice cream and more! Local artists exhibits, farm exhibits, crafts! Marching bands, tractor pulls, truck, quad, and motorcycle races! Families having fun!
Always love the fair!! The food, the animals, the events, the rides, clean restrooms, family atmosphere!
I've been going to the Lawrence County fair my entire life. We raised and showed animals every year. Now my nephew and nieces are showing, and in a few years, my son will too. This fair has a special place in my heart. However, it has been going downhill for years now. It saddens my heart. I'm not sure if it's the fair board running it into the ground or the fact that the area has gone downhill. I hope something changes soon or I don't know if it will be there when my son comes of age to show animals.
Great local fair with whole family
Absolutely repulsive. Went to the fair last year will never go again. This town supports animal abuse. They had a monkey and aquatic animal last year and now theyre strapping monkeys to dogs for a race, how inhuman!!!! Not only that theyre going to have wolves there this year with no shade in this terrible fair. Animals are not entertainment. Whoever organizing this every year should be fired. Way to ruin it. Any vendors participating this year, youre equally guilty
It was good, but seemed smaller and not as busy as I remembered, maybe because their were thunderstorms in the area. Still a great value, and a lot of fun for only $10!
This place is a joke you go there to watch the truck and tractor pools and they cancel and can’t even refund $20 for just trying to watch the truck and tractor polls. Was there for 10 minutes didn’t get to see anything. And then, when you run the derby there, they wet the track down so much you can’t even get traction. It is a joke. We just visited for the first time after seeing the good reviews here. Our dinner was fantastic, but WOW the deserts were phenomenal! Be careful on their very slippery floors though! IDK if they were greasy or probably just a bad choice of flooring.
