Lavallette Beach - Resort hotel in Lavallette - 1306 Grand Central Ave, USA

Our family rented a house there. The beach was not crowded all week, we had good weather, so it was a good vacation. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford all that, and furthermore, the beach is significantly smaller in certain places because of rapid erosion the past few years.

Not a bad place for a day trip. $12 beach tags aren't too expensive, but I wish they had rinsing showers or at least a footwash. Free nearby street parking was easy to find. Beach was clean compared to other local beaches. Pro tip: If you want a little more beach space, then set your blankets near the Camden St beach access. That area of the beach is marked off for surfing only so there aren't as many people on that part of the beach.

Spend 2 weeks of the summer here ever summer for 25 years. The town has def gotten more popular over time with good reason. The beaches are well kept, plenty to do in walking or uber distance. Over the years prices have drastically changed but such as life. I wouldn't give up my time spent here. Always a pleasure even if the weather isn't agreeable. A day a the shore is better then a day without it. Oh! Sunsets are especially wonderful here 😊

Family oriented, cozy and not too crowded. No public bathroom. Beach is decent size with a sharp drop off at the water... Has a large parallel "drift" current along the shore but makes for a great day and swim

An amazing beach, clean sand, beautiful scenery and surroundings. Went during off season and dogs are allowed which my pooch had a blast of a time. Pretty sure dogs not allowed during the summer and beach passes have to be bought.

Fantastic beach!!! Really beautiful! The boardwalk is quiet and beautiful, and it's easy to walk to the water. The town offers nice places to eat and shop. I've been coming to Lavallette for at least 30 years!!

Lavalette is one of my favorite places to go in every season. We are at the beach all year long and this is a locals beach for sure. Quiet off season with breath taking views as far as the eye can see. The boardwalk was completely redone with hurricane Sandy and offers a perfect stretch to walk, ride bikes or walk your fur baby (restrictions apply). They are one of the few places you can actually bring your dog near the beach. Highly recommend checking out the beaches here!
