What a difference 6 months can make. We came at the end of Spring and was very disappointed with the staff and the overall feel from the employees. We came again in October for the Haunted Forrest and was not disappointed. All new staff! They were very friendly from the Summer, the check in girl to workers around the campsite answering all our crazy questions. Everyone was extremely kind and friendly. Everyone looked professional in their matching shirts, not like in the spring where the girls in the General Store look like they just crawled out of bed and was more interested in going outside to smoke then taking care of customers. I met Sid, the General Manage and his lovely wife Joy, and told them how wonderful the changes were. Sid and Joy, both told us to contact them if we needed anything. As for the Haunted Forrest, we were not disappointed! What a wonderful family adventure. The cabins were clean and well maintained, the TVs were working in our cabin. Just an overall family feel to the place now. So glad that Sid was able to clean house! He was able to replace staff that didn't want to work with staff that was happy to work and help guests whenever needed! Way to go Sid! We are looking forward to seeing you and your wife in the Spring!
I’ve stayed here several times and have never been disappointed! The staff are always friendly and will to help make your stay great. The grounds are always clean and maintained. The campsites are reasonably spaced, maintained well and clean. We stayed for Halloween weekend and it was great!! The haunted trail was the best I’ve been to in years!! There were lots of activities for the kids! We have already scheduled 2 stays for next year!! Love this campground!’
Edit- second trip, equally satisfied this go around. Campground is very clean and well maintained. Will continue to visit. Great campground. Gated, quiet, rv spots are somewhat close to each other but clean and fairly easy to get into. All the staff I dealt with were super nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. Will visit again. The fireworks show was awesome, too.
We camped in our travel trailer. The sites were large and restrooms clean. All employees were professional and friendly (especially the camp host Kim)! We can’t wait to go back. They had fun community events and welcomed everyone.
This was a nice trip! The staff was friendly, especially the chefs at the Cafe! We stayed for the weekend, so it was really hard to get a golf cart. I'd suggest getting one as soon as you check in if any are available. I really loved that they had little events like craft painting and karaoke!
I Fell in Love with this place. The Management team is Amazing and the Staff is the Friendliest and it's the cleanest Place I have stayed. I am a mom f an Autistic child, and she has made so many milestones since we have been here. And so much more. The Cabins are Beautiful There is so many things for the whole family and they have an amazing cafe and outstanding food truck on weekends. It is a very safe place for your Family and the Activities they have is just the Best. The Wobble wave, a Beach with Lifeguards, Basketball court, Volleyball, Karaoke, Dance parties, beautiful walking trails, the cabins are Beautiful and very clean and comfortable, has everything you need in them very cozy. Tent sites are Beautiful, and the RV sites are also very Beautiful. It's a piece of Heaven on Earth. Lisa Jones 2023
We always have the best time camping here! This past weekend was Halloweekend and everything from the staff being dressed up and helpful and kind to our camp host Kim making sure everyone was having a great time and had what they needed and answered all questions easily made it the best trip yet.
I never write reviews but I will for this one. We went this weekend and once last year and while the staff is friendly I was very annoyed when after we’d already been in the pond to swim and we’re packing up to leave workers come up and say we needed to leave as the pond is now shut down for a week. When I asked why they said the health inspector came in and tested the water and it’s unsafe to swim in. We weren’t told this upon check in and if they found out that day the first thing they should have done was let everyone know it was 4pm. I wasn’t happy as that really the only reason we came there. My next problem is they DO NOT enforce quiet hours. Hours started at 11 campers I’m assuming these were full time renters there but they kept us up till 1 am Friday and 3 am Saturday night with rowdy yelling and screaming. The “hiking Trails” are completely unsafe. They do not do anything like state parks to get the the fallen trees off the paths plus the view on the way to these trails is junk, old picnic tables, tires, broken basketball hoop. The website makes this place look great but it’s dirty. The bouncy houses were all mud and while I understand it rains do something about it. Straw, hay anything. There is no pool nor has it even been started. Take it off you map. I will not be back here which is disappointing because we really did enjoy it the first time we came.

Really fast (our dine-in order was ready by the time I filled my drink), friendly and polite staff, very clean restrooms and dining room. An employee even came to the table to see if we needed anything. Great stop off the interstate!
I was very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of our room. It smelled so nice and âcleanâ as soon as you walked into the lobby and carried on into our room. The bathroom was large and had an LED makeup mirror. I liked the setup as
