Great place to grab a beer, but the food is pretty awful. I stopped in for lunch a month ago and the food was pretty pitiful, but I figured I'd give it another shot. Ordered Halibut this time but received Cod which was overcooked nearly to the point of being jerky, so incredibly disappointing overall.
Went there to eat with my husband and father in law. Food and service was amazing. You hang out long enough you get to hear some really cool stories too.
Very good food at the restaurant and a real local vibe, gave me something to do when the power was out in the town. They had the generator running and my belly was full by the time I left. Stop in for a meal when you're in town.
We had lunch at Latitude 62 today while we were in Talkeetna. What a cool place! Unique inside and the food was fantastic. Our server, Sarah, was AWESOME! Quick and friendly service. A server at another restaurant recommended we check it out, and man are we glad we did! We had the Zippy Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fish and Chips, and Blackened Halibut sandwich. Onion rings, fries, and the best home-made potato salad and ranch dressing. Reasonably priced for location. Definitely worth checking out. I heard their breakfast is great, as well. Clean bathrooms! Stop in and ask for Sarah!
Marney is the best bartender!! This bar is the local living room of Talkeetna, this is where you find your locals. They even have decent food and great conversation. I 100% recommend stopping by!
We debated on eating here then finally decided to go ahead and try it. Everyone loved the halibut. The service from our waiter Lloyd was great and he was a lot of fun. After we finished we went a quarter mile further to where all the shops were at and all the restaurants were completely packed and crowded. We made the great decision! No remorse here.
Only had breakfast. Great breakfast. Had eggs, bacon and hashbrown with half order of biscuits with gravy. Gravy had sausage. Tasted like my mommy's in East TN.
The server was rude, confused, rushed and visibly aggravated. We ordered the ribeye steak sandwiches. 1st of all, it was not ribeye steak, 2nd is smelled awful. The meat was sour and vile!

What a great place! The cabin was spacious and super-clean! It had everything we needed and the manager, Angie, was so friendly and accommodating. This is THE best place to stay! Easy to find and such a peaceful setting.
