Latinos Restaurant - Puerto Rican restaurant in Simpsonville - 430 SE Main St c, USA

CALL AHEAD. If this review was food-only, it would have been five stars. But, since we had not been warned ahead of our first visit, from entering the restaurant to the food served was 50 minutes. The menu clearly states “cooked to order-allow time”, but that doesn’t help when you are already there. To-go or dine-in, the smart money is in calling first. There are only six tables with seating, many two-tops in this small restaurant in a strip center. But, consider yourself warned and head over for some great Latin food. While we were pondering the menu, literally every customer in the place had already been there before and told us to expect a wonderful meal. We had two Mofongos (the classic with Carne Frita, the other substituting slow-cooked pork for the pork chunks, $18). The Carne Frita was a little over-cooked but very flavorful, the slow-cooked was excellent. We also tried the traditional Cuban ($13), very tasty and like the other two entrees, too generous to eat in one setting. Allow time and be aware they are only open three days a week- 12 to 7- and they’re serious about opening at noon, even with people standing outside, they didn’t open until a few minutes after.

T he food was really really good. It's a small place so seating is limited. You order at a the front and your food is brought to you. I loved the food. Will definitely return.

A little slice of home for these almost 20 year Florida transplants. We got empanads, the bistec sandwich and Cuban sandwich. Phenomenal. Period.

THE KING OF MOFONGO cooks here. I love this place. Nothing I have eaten has ever been less than DELICIOSO. Have the Alcapurrias, have the Monfongo, have the Pernil, have whatever is on special - it doesn’t matter because you are going to LOVE IT ALL. Do not hesitate! And it’s made to ORDER. If you are in a hurry - order ahead. If not, sit back and enjoy the music while you wait for your FRESH, PIPING HOT FOOD to be served to you. YUM. WEPA.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for so long and my only regret is that I didn’t visit sooner. Delicious home Latin cooking!! The staff are also very warm and friendly and take the time to explain all their dishes. Always heard about Mofongo and Latinos version is delicious! Their flan de queso was sooo good too. Definitely coming back!!

Great authentic Puerto Rican food! I placed a large catering order for my wife's birthday party and wanted to take her back home to Puerto Rico, in spirit anyways, and the food from Latino's helped to make that happen. Ordered the peril, beans and gandules and everything was absolutely amazing. Since moving from Florida a few years back we have really missed the Latin food, so we are happy that we found Latino's. I reached out to Sonda a couple of weeks ahead of time to discuss options and she was very helpful with providing details on what I should order and to make sure we had plenty of food. Wonderful people and great food! Thank you to the entire Latino's family for helping to make my wife's birthday such a memorable experience!

Food is always delicious! Establishment always clean and staff friendly abd professional! If you want great Spanish cuisine this is the place.
