Great quilt & textile museum! They have exhibitions on, teach classes / workshops, & most importantly, if you call a week or so in advance, they will do a bed turning for you. They take you into their quilt archive & will show you historic quilts with advance notice! Staff are friendly, dedicated, & the museum itself sells very beautiful things made by local textile artists. When we visited, there was an artist working in the loom room.
If you love quilting or knitting, this is a must see. They have an extensive collection of books and active quilting and weaving projects.
It's so nice coming back here ever so often. They usually have people on the looms and doing artistic works, but not day. There was a room with beautiful artistic baskets, bags and more. I wasn't allowed to take photos of these objects, because they will be going on to a other exhibit coming up. You just need to go and see them. There are about four works that are exceptional. They took my breath away!
Very cool little place for anyone who enjoys fiber arts. A museum, classroom, workspace and shop all in one! All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. I learned how to weave on a loom for the first time which was a great experience! Amazing displays of historical items. They sell bundles of yarn sheared right from the cute & friendly llamas who greet you from the field right outside 🦙🦙🦙
Every fiber artist LOVES the creative energy and nostalgic history of this living interactive exhibition; Including historic displays, & bi-monthly feature exhibit, there are real life textile artists gatherings, to list a few: .. Tuesday - Fiber Arts Group .. Thursday - Morning & Evening Knit Group .. Friday - Fabric Weavers & Rug Hookers If you are a fiber artist or textile enthusiast, you will not want to leave and you’ll be back over & over again to pick-up supplies or finished textile products. Considering this is a mostly volunteer run non-profit organization, the small (currently $4) entrance fee is well worth your value, or become a member and join the good work!
Amazing textile art on display for this open house. So many unique and wonderful items available to see and buy. I poured thru the basket of antique buttons and spent only .75 cents on a small ziploc full that I chose!
Nice little place with lots of quilting supplies, books, advice, looms, quilts and various other sewn crafts you can buy at reasonable prices. Just an all around nice place if you like quilting.
Wow! A living museum! A place working to preserve arts and crafts. Housed in an old school house, this has a little something for everyone. They focus on quilting and weaving but knitters and Crocheters will find it appealing! Members sell their makes and you can see them in action. Everything is beautifully displayed. A little gem!

We had a good time walking around and seeing the lighthouse, unfortunately it was very foggy that day but we were able to see the some views after a bit. The lighthouse was so fun, it was so small and cute. They were closed due to the winter season t
I brought my mom and young kids into the shop yesterday and we had so much fun! We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel comfortable to browse and just enjoy looking at Seasonsâ creations. The sweet woman that was running the shop even shar
Not what I was expecting. Turned out to be one of my new favorite places! Great view with little waterfalls, shells, agate and seaglass! So happy my wife and I turned down this road after passing it up so many times before!
So quiet and peaceful. Clean beach with barely anyone on it. People did have their dogs off leash and there are quite a few sand flies. No bathroom in the parking lot and you cannot camp here. But we really enjoyed walking here while visiting.
Oh my word, what a great Butchers and a fabulous family. We stopped here to pick up some minced beef and got talking about bacon. Although I like North American bacon, I was missing UK back bacon which has more pink and less white (not streaky). Vick
This 11.5 mile hike was BRUTAL. It's very challenging. We did both the summits and it took 8 hrs. There are 3 rope climbs that no joke you need the rope to go up or down...HIGHLY RECOMMEND going counter clockwise, which is the way we went thank God I
Cool place. Oysters were absolutely delicious. I wonderful punch to the face of ocean glory. Fish tacos were great. Good beer list. I would definitely come back of I find myself in the area again. Dress warmly. Buy some to go as well.
I canât say enough good things about Handy Oysters! This place truly deserves a 5-star review. First and foremost, their staff is not only welcoming but also the friendliest youâll ever encounter. They make you feel like family from the moment y
Eclectic collection of fishing gear. New and old. A lot of beautiful classic lures here. Great spot to find a Hidden Gem. They also have excellent bait and make their own scents. Rod and reel repair as well. Great little shop less than a mile from th
