Very friendly staff, very clean, NO handicap showers this needs to be addressed, very small if you are over 5 10' good luck. Lighting outside by tents site none existent, Very noisy the owners dogs constantly barking all night. Great breakfast prepared fresh and very reasonable. Very friendly cat 🐈 named Missie. Overall I give it 3 stars because of the noise by the dogs and me been disabled the showers need improvement.
Nice stopover outside of Las Vegas. The host was very nice and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and warm, which is really important when traveling in the winter. Good WiFi.
We stayed in a cabin. It was lovely. Susan, Jeff, and John could not have been more accommodating. I’m allergic to milk, butter, cheese… they made a special breakfast for me. The orange juice was so good. There was strawberries, bananas, pineapple, sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, coffee. Susan asked if we wanted to go boxes. She picked up our plates. Jeff repeatedly asked if I needed him to make me some more butter free eggs. We felt very welcome and taken care of. It was a little bit of nurturing that we needed as it was cold and windy outside and we didn’t want to pitch a tent at the state park so we found the cabin at the KOA. It had a wonderful heater that kept us toasty. Thank you all! We will definitely be back.
By the way: regarding the previous reviews: we are not in need of wheel chairs or anything but we found the showers to be the perfect size! We don’t have dogs that shower near us, of course, but there was definitely more room than we needed. As previously mentioned, the restroom facilities and the dining room were super clean and cozy! Thank you for all of the time and attention these items require.
What can I say other than, I love KOA's. Most are not a high-end resort, but they have all the basics. Expectations are always met with 99% of a KOA.
This one was no exception as, like most, the experience was very pleasant the Hosts, very helpful and accommodating. They went well beyond the normal service for me.
Very enjoyable stay. Like many campgrounds, it is close to the interstate. The signs when exiting the interstate could be improved. Easy to go the wrong direction as Garmin is confusing.
The entry road was marked with a very small sign once found. The entrance road is a little bouncy after the cattle grate, so go slow.
My space was very nice, clean, level, well groomed, shaded and very quiet at night.
I would definitely stop again if in the area.
I took Rt.84 to I-40 good road beautiful ride.
We stayed here one night as it was on our route home. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The spots are secluded and it was quiet. Pool was out of service when we were there and they do offer an eight dollar breakfast. Dog run was small but adequate.
Quiet and peaceful. Our pull through site was perfectly level. Hardest working and friendliest people I have ever met working this place. Manager has rescue dogs that love to be loved. Hot showers and clean restrooms. This place is a hidden gem. We don’t miss it when we come through Las Vegas.
Very noisy the owner dogs barking all night couldn't sleep. The bathroom door got stuck closed I needed to get help to get out. The showers are very small and uncomfortable, No handicap shower,I'm a disabled veteran and couldn't even get undress in it,a closet has more room than those showers. If you are over 5'8 good luck in getting in it,not enough lighting above the sinks so if you are going to shave good luck. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and professional, they have breakfast there and I highly recommend you eat there is delicious. FYI if you are in the tent pads the main trash cans are at the entrance to the tent pads, I think they should be moved, there is all kinds of critters that could be a problem, (Bears). If you are handicap ♿️ I don't recommend you stay here.
Far enough from the main road, a cheap breakfast, and super kind hosts hoist this KOA above the four stars that the sites alone would warrant. Slightly hilly but a great stop over location on your way to points unknow. Clean Bathrooms await your "morning constitutional" or shower. Did you know that the drive in road is part of the Original Rt. 66? Yeah, we thought that was cool as well.
Fun Facts- several National Monument/ Historical Parks are close by and Las Vegas NM old town sq was the Location for Longmire TV series shoots. Have fun!

This is the cutest local coffee shop in Las Vegas. I have been in Las Vegas for clinical rotations for the past 3 months and Cafecito has been my ray of sunshine. They are quick and efficient even with a long line of cars. They have the best lavender
After reading other reviews about how comfortable the beds are, we decided to go ahead and book this place last minute on a road trip. To my surprise, the beds WERE super comfortable! We also had a very late check in and the property was very accomm
We stopped in for some hot tea and coffee and it didn't disappoint! My boyfriend got the Proprietress' special Spice Tea blend that was her Grandma's recipe. (Delicious and super unique) She made me a SUGAR FREE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE WITH FRESH SUGAR
What a wonderful place! The ambiance is stellar! The food is delicious! Eric was my server, and he is hands down the best service in town! Such a professional place! Truly 5 stars! The quality of food, the setting, and the service, it absolutely rock
Highly recommend. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the small inside dining area. Everything from the condiments on the table to the clean table and clean floor. There was not one fly in there. For this time of year that is pretty impressive.
Our favorite place to get fresh Salsa! We go weekly for a quart so we have for the whole week! Chips and salsa are our favorite snack late at night! Every time we dine in or takeout food is always so good! Everyone working there is so friendly and ma
