Las Trojas - Mexican restaurant in Jefferson City - 2930 W Edgewood Dr, USA

Good Mexican food. Portions are of sufficient size. Free tortilla chips and salsa are tasty. However, their green sauce is not the best I have had in Mexican restaurants. Service and atmosphere are fine. Good for a family meal together. They also have a spacious parking lot.

Sadly, there was a hair in our beans. We did get a extra side of beans… That obviously are from the same pot… we first asked our server for a discount, and he said that he already took care of it with the extra side of beans. I told him that I will just have to talk about it with the person at the front. He rushed up there and before I could say anything to the person checking me out. He made sure to tell his side of the story right in front of us, in Spanish. Once I spoke to the man at the front, he agreed to discount the food and he had given a 10% discount…… So disappointing….

Fantastic Mexican place. They have the best chips in the Jeff City area out of all the places I've visited. Servers are always polite and my orders have always been correct. Lunch is served quick enough you can get it on break during the workday.

The service was great, but the food left a lot to be desired. The refried beans were awful. The atmosphere would have been nice if it hadn't been so loud. Not likely we'll be back.

We were seated quickly, the restaurant appeared to be clean, and waiters helped us quickly. I had the Camarones ala diabla without rice. It wasn’t as spicy as most places but had a good flavor and the shrimps tails were removed which is great!! My son had a taco salad and he loved it. We will be happy to return! I returned for a second time a few weeks ago and the a la Diabla was spicier and even better than the first time! We had a great experience again and our waiter was very nice. It’s close to a nice park as well with trails! Third visit food was good! And more consistent with my second visit than my first. Good flavor and they are nice enough to pluck the tails! Thanks!

Ohhh my .. everything was fantastic , service, food, price. The chips are so fresh and crisp , I had the chicken fajitas.. great flavor good quantity . I will DEFINITELY revisit !!

Chicken was as tough and not able to eat, found hair in my daughter's cooked fries. Sharp chip in the plate! Great atmosphere but the food is not worth it.
