Stopped in here for lunch and was glad I did. The food coming out of the kitchen all looked good and fresh. All items are made to order so you will have a short weight before your food arrives. The service was exceptional. I don't know if it was the owner or not but the woman who helped take my order went above and beyond to answer all my questions and explain some of the menu items so I would get exactly what I was hungry for. I left with more than one meal because everything looked so good that I wanted something to go. The nachos were enough for two, and the chimichanga was crisp and loaded. I was also very impressed with the amount of extras you could add for free. For sure it would be an extra charge at most other places. The atmosphere is decorated in the style you would expect. Overall a Mexican feel but I would say a few touch ups and attention to details could help to bring the place together but definitely nothing that you would care about once your food arrives and get your first taste.
Had a great lunch here! I had the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and it was so delicious. The rice and beans are also super flavorful and I liked them a lot especially topped with their salsa that was quite tasty, they have several different salsas available to buy and what I got was really good! My family all enjoyed what they got as well. Was a flavorful place to eat at and was exactly what I was craving!
My husband, my mother-in-law and I found this hidden gem & now can't get enough. The staff are friendly, courteous, helpful and thoughtful. I have a food allergy to onions and they went above & beyond to make sure I didn't get sick.
Everything on the menu is delicious but my favorite is bean burritos on flour tortillas. Make sure you come hungry tho the portions are huge.
Underwhelming, very underwhelming…. but might still be better than other Mexican food places that you’ll find in Hawaii. We got steak burritos, salsa & chips and Guac. Guac was purely made of mashed avocados. No flavor. needed more salt, lime juice, tomatoes and onions… The chips lacked any flavor… the salsa was like watered down spicy tomato sauce.. .. the burritos were barely wrapped, I’d say they were ‘folded’. Burritos tasted ‘fine’ at best. Would I come back here again? No.
This food was delicious! The pollo asada regular burrito had great flavor and was tender. I would eat here again. We got to the restaurant just before 11 and we're the only people there so we were initially a bit worried that it might not be that good. Shortly after we ordered though the place became packed. We ordered at just the right time as every table was full before we finished eating.
I'm from California and I eat a good portion of mexican food. Was extremely satisfied with the quality of the food and the flavors. I got a wet "kitchen sink" burrito wih grilled chicken. The red sauce was thick and tasty. Lots of flavor I don't normally find else where, and the distribution of ingredients in the burrito was perfect. I highly recommend this place!
I was looking for a quick bite to eat before heading to the airport, and Las Pinatas was a perfect option! It was high quality good at an affordable price, and most importantly, it was quick! The staff was friendly, and provided suggestions. Note: You have to ask the staff to get access to the bathroom.
Stopped in with the kids after being on a direct 11 hour flight from the east coast. I was HANGRY! The service was so friendly and welcoming! We had salsa and chips to start and then I had the fish taco! It was fantastic! The family ordered steak and shrimp tacos, they ate everything and said they were good. I was too busy stuffing my face to notice at that moment!!
Also filled with locals - which to me says it all! De-LISH!!!
I got the Garlic Shrimp, Husband got the Carnitas Nachos, 8 year old son got the Quesadilla, and 12 year old got the side of rice a beans. Absolutely loved it, off the path a bit but so great, and the nicest sweetest hostess helped us. Would go again
Stopped at Faithful Grinds before our flight back home stateside. The place feels like a genuine neighborhood Hawaiian restaurant-no frills for decor but the food is FANTASTIC! I had the Kahlua pork & cabbage. Super tasty and beyond reasonable price.
Ventured here from our resort to buy a few bags of fresh beans for a friend. Located in the Home Depot parking lot by the airport, this little shack has drive through and walk up service. I got the chocolate chip banana bread and A New Orleans style
Love this park! But we always keep our slippers on because we have found broken glass here quite a few times. But even with that it still gets five stars. It's a great park! Just look around first.
Bathrooms were recently updated and much cleaner. T
This market was bigger than we expected! There were a great variety of vendors selling various art, produce, flowers, food, and much more. We loved walking around and looking at everything, and were happy to be able to shop local for some souvenirs.
First time at tin roof. This was our last meal before leaving Maui, and I was so stoked we found this place. By far the best meal on our trip. I would definitely recommend this place!!! Ahi tuna was off the chart! Garlic noodle was very flavorful
My wife is a huge coffee drinker. I prefer tea. We were both impressed with this coffee truck. My wife's best cup of coffee while we were in Maui was purchased here. She had the sugar-free raspberry and dark chocolate latte with almond milk. Of cours
For some reason tomatoes ð are extremely expensive in Maui. $4 for four. But at this market, it was only $4 for 10. I loaded up on fruits and vegetables. The golden pineapples were $3 here versus $8 in Kauai. They taste very fragrance and del
