Best Salvadorian restaurant in the area! Pupusas are fantastic and so are the empanadas de leche.
My enchiladas for takeout had no sauce over them, and this pathetic little plate was $19. No wonder the restaurant is empty.
Updated pricing as of 2023, May 31 in my photos. Food was very good. I had chicken tamales and Sopa de Res (beef rib and vegetable soup).
The tamales came unwrapped and were a very thick and soft consistency compared to Mexican tamales I'm familiar with. Overall, they had good flavor. Oh! The slaw/salad that came with the tamales was fresh and bright with a vinegar-lime dressing which was a nice contrast to the tamales.
The beef rib soup was a treat. It's a meal in a bowl with a pile of meat! It is a meal in itself. The meat was extremely tender and had clearly been simmered for well over four hours. It was complimented by a piece of corn, carrots, cabbage, and yucca.
Today we come to get some dinner with Family and friends but we had bad experience we use to eat pupusas all the time but today the pupusas was the worst we ever eat I will said they need people know how to cook it and put the right ingredients for pupusas and the server just tell us they cook as same always they do.
We just happen to come across this restaurant today while walking. The food was just okay. There really wasn't much flavor or spice to the food.
Local place. Very simple. Ok service and food. I enjoyed a variety of street tacos. Salsa had good flavor, but not hot at all. Ask for the habanero sauce to mix in. Recommend
Was staying close by so decided to taste the food for dinner. I had the seafood soup and it was AMAZING!!!! Enjoyed every bit of it! Definitely would come check out their other dishes if in the area.
Ordered Yucca strips as an appetizer and garlic shrimp for the main. The ycca appetizer was $7.95. For that price, they provided 4 pieces of yucca about the size of a steak fry. The shrimp tasted "fishy" and not fresh. The one element that was decent was the yellow rice. I won't be back.
