Larsen's Grill -- Oxnard - Steak house in Oxnard - 590 Town Center Dr, USA

I was a little nervous when we got to the restaurant as there was a line waiting to get in. The line was because the restaurant did not open until 5pm. We had 5.15 reservations and we were seated on time. We were immediately greeted by our server Fernande. She was extremely friendly. We ordered cocktails to start.My wife had her favorite salad the wedge. She was very pleased that she ordered the wedge because she said it was the best wedge she had ever had and believe me she has eaten many wedge salads, some at the finest restaurants in L.A.,N.YC, and San Francisco. I had the prime rib and loaded baked potato. Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the potato was double baked so it had the perfect crunchy skin. For dessert we shared the creme Brule not the best just o.k. our server Fernande came back to the table numerous times to make c sure everyone was just right. Thank you Fernande for helping us bring in the new year perfectly. Then we were off to some live music and dancing.

On short notice we decided on Larsen's. Checked on line no available tables for 7:30 pm on Saturday night. My daughter called and they took our reservation, it just got better from then. Cocktails were great, service and atmosphere was fantastic. I limit the amount of red meat I eat but I was craving the prime rib, it did not disappoint. Heads up I think they only serve it on Fridays and Saturdays. Alfredo our server was one of the reasons our experience was fantastic. Great service thank you Alfredo and staff.

If your looking for a good steak, this is your go to. Best steakhouse in the area, and the service is excellent. They go above and beyond to make sure your getting what you pay for. Be ready to spend some money, it’s not cheap.

Larsen's in Oxnard California is very pricey. We ordered the Tomahawk steak 32oz for 2 which is $180.00. The steak was cooked very good. The wild rice was okay. The ceaser salad could have been more fresh. The asparagus was okay. The butter cake was dense. I feel with this price you should be able to choose your dessert. We also ordered Chateaubria steak 20oz for 2 which is $130.00. The steak was supposed to be medium and it was rare and didn't have any flavor. The steak did not look like 20oz.The flemmings salad was okay. The garlic cheese bread was okay. The mac and cheese is delicious. If you go there don't order the specials. Very pricey and not worth the price. Try something else.

Larsens is one hell of a place. I feel fancy in there. The team is on point, blueberry martinis are not on the menu anymore, but outstanding. Streaks are great, and they have truffle butter, need I say more? Get you some!

It's actually good. Chicken is missing the flavor, but the steak is really good, and the lobster good drinks environment is good. Got a call from the restaurant days after to follow up on my visit, not bad.

We have enjoyed many meals at Larsen’s with Fernanda Panganiban often as our server. She has made our times at Larsen a delight. The food is always delicious. Fernanda gives a family feeling when we dine at Larsen’s.

Definitely reccomended a reservation before just showing up and waiting, you'll likely wait a long time. The food is amazing, we've been a couple of times now and have tried many things on the menu. Great main courses, great drinks and desserts. Really awesome wait staff who have been perfect every time!
