It wasn't up to the standards of the previous owner. The floor was dirty, the room was so cold I had to sleep with my clothes on. Plus I was charged for 2 nights so that I could stay one night. $178 for that isn't worth it. I'm very disappointed.
We stay at several different locations throughout the year and I will say Larry's is the CLEANEST I believe we have ever stayed in!! Had I known the cleanliness we truly would have brought food to utilize the kitchen more!!! All the staff is so friendly, and easy to get along with!! Price is reasonable, close enough to town, yet close to the areas attractions, as well!!! We would definitely stay at Larry's again!!
My family and I have been going to Bennet Springs State Park since I can remember. We have lodged at Larry's several times and always have had a great stay! The cabins are clean and well stocked. The staff are friendly, especially Kelly. Thank you!
After the recent death of my husband's Mother, the siblings decided they needed to set aside time to stay in touch. One of their favorite things to do with their Mom & Dad (especially Dad!) was fishing trips to Bennett Springs State Park in Lebanon, Mo. Sometimes a few of us camped, however, most of the time, we stayed at Larry's Cedar Resort just up the road from the trout stream. Over the years, we have been in their cabins, but this year we were in their newer facilities similar to a multi unit hotel. The accommodations were excellent, very clean and spacious. There were 3 couples and we had plenty of room. We cooked most of our meals. We were given fresh towels every day. Larry and his family are very friendly and helpful. I truly believe they treat all their "residents" as family. They also have a shop next door that can repair your fishing rods and reels or supply you with bait for fishing, or snacks and basic food items you might have forgotten. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves to fish, or simply enjoy the outdoors.
Very clean and quiet. The owners are very friendly and nice. They keep the resort clean and the landscaping up. Cabins nice and clean. My family loves staying here. Cabins are equipped with reasonable items for the kitchen. BBQ grills are at the pavilion that is covered. The parking is not the greatest, but don't let this change your mind about staying here. Nice little store that has ice cream for the little ones. Very nice place
Nice rooms to stay in, very well kept. Stayed with another couple while we were on a trip trout fishing. Will definitely stay there again!
Kay runs a tight ship and keeps her resort tip top. We come yearly for a family vacation. Whether we stay in a cabin, the big house, or condo, we can count on the place being clean. Each unit is equipped with essentials for cooking. Much more than you could expect for a fishing resort. It’s the closest resort to Bennett Springs State Park. The only downfall is it’s on a hill and there is not room for private campfires. There is a community shelter with tables and bbq grills. Great place for the money.
Always well maintained, quiet, a few feet from the water. Our whole family stays several times a year. Kay, Larry and Kelley (runs store) are wonderful folks. Crazy not to give them a try!!!! Exceptionally clean and well stocked kitchens.

Went here for lunch & was thrilled! The flat bread pizza is delish (recommend the Downtown) & my husband's boneless wings were so good. We also split the house-made chips with ranch. We can't wait to go back and try the burgers and get the chips with
This garden is so relaxing & peaceful. The plants were beautiful. There were many picnic tables to choose from. We ate, walked the paths. It was so pleasant!
The room was nice and clean, my only problem was the bed height. For someone with limited mobility, it was very difficult to get into bed. Apparently this is the norm for this hotel chain and if you can see that a person is walking with a cane maybe
