From a wedding photographer's perspective, you really can't beat the Larkspur wedding experience! Stunning mountain views all around, an incredibly beautiful and intimate reception space, and can host one heck of a party! We recently photographed a wedding in the fall at peak colors, and WOW! The whole valley was ablaze!
Fall Wedding in Vail
The Larkspur wedding venue in Vail was an idyllic mountain setting for our daughter’s Fall wedding on September 24, 2023. Now that the wedding festivities have all concluded, we
look back and know this venue exceeded our expectations! This is due to the picturesque surroundings, the venue décor and the outstanding service of the entire Larkspur team.
The sales and event team, Isabel and Sadie, ensured that all of our needs were met and coordinated to make Heather and Chris’s wedding a flawless event. The food and beverage were exceptional, and the cake was amazing! Our guests said they loved the venue and the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding!
A special thanks and shout out to the Larkspur team for making our family’s heritage of three generations married in Eagle county , an endearing event that we will remember the rest of our lives! Anyone looking to do a destination wedding should consider the Larkspur—it was amazing!
We had our rehearsal dinner at Larkspur and it was fantastic! The location is perfect and very easy to get to plus has a very picturesque backdrop. The service and food were spectacular and our guests truly had a great time. Highly recommend!
I had my wedding at Larkspur and it was incredible! The staff was amazing and the venue was gorgeous! The food was also Devine! Well within budget without losing the high quality and beauty. Absolutely recommend Larkspur!
The 5 onion soup was good, but not as good as the lobster BLT.
The onion soup was a little bland. Very fresh, and served piping hot.
The lobster was VERY tender and as a whole it was worth every penny.
Larkspurs location is fantastic! And our server was incredibly helpful and fun but the food at Larkspur didn’t wow me. For the price (almost $20 burger) the food was pretty mediocre. Being vegan it’s hard to find good options and the couple salads they provided were not exciting. Aside from my meal my buddy got the burger and was equally unimpressed. It was fun to grab a bite to eat right after walking off the slopes but don’t expect the prices to match the quality.
Delicious Lobster Club for Aprés Ski --
Larkspur was able to accommodate our party of 16 for lunch while we were in Vail, and it was such a splendid meal.
The Bloody Mary was made with love and affection. The Kusshi oysters hit the SPOT. Above all, the Lobster Club nourished my soul in a way that prepared me for the afternoon slopes!
We at Two Elk Studios love photographing weddings at Larkspur. Wonderful team and beautiful location.

I was in Vail for a work trip with several colleagues and on a day when a few of us went skiing, we all decided to meet here for lunch during the day. The location and atmosphere is amazing, with great views of the mountains. The food was really good
Staying in vail was not in our initial plan on our road trip to Colorado but we had one day extra and we decided to stay in vail. Iâm so glad we were there. This place was one of the best highlights of our 2 week trip. This property is gorgeous, th
Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.
Decided to try something simple and delicious, Blü Cow was just the right place.
Their Swiss hot dogs are yummy, along with rejuvenating Uber Soup.
Friendly service.
Great Italian restaurant in Vail. Highly recommend reservations, although one can arrive early and get to snag a seat at the bar (which often has people eating there). They have a nice wine selection, which because itâs Colorado, you can take your
We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.
The perfect ending to my short getaway to Vail! I had the lamb for the main course and French Onion Soup as a starter. Everything was well seasoned and delicious! The service was also great!
