Visited the winery and it is under new ownership. Rebecca was super friendly and attentive. Had a flight tasting and would highly recommend all the white wines if you love white wines. Nice to see new owners that want to get involved in the community and are willing to listen to their customers feedback. Looking forward to visiting again!
I always enjoyed stopping for a wine tasting after a late lunch at Windjammer. Website said they open at 4 on Friday. I drove in sign was hanging crooked & looks abandoned. Sad.
The Inn and hosts are superb. My wife and I decided to have a quick getaway to Watch Hill and Westerly and were so lucky to have booked the Langworthy. Everything about the Inn was idyllic. Rebecca, our host, was delightful and charming and the lovely room and amenities were spotless and well appointed. We arrived in time to grab a glass of wine in the tasting room of the winery they operate across the driveway from the Inn. For those that know the area and especially for those that don't the Inn is situated a short walk from the beach fronts of Weekapaug and Misquamicut and at this time of year it is a serene dreamscape. Aside from the hospitality of the hosts the other guests were equally as charming and friendly. We could not recommend it more highly.
"Whats not to love?" As a jaded Manhattanite if I didn't find Langworthy the epitome of what a charming, beautiful and quaint B&B is, my husband Gary and I would not have stayed there on 3 seperate occasions in the last few years. The location is perfect, 40 minutes from Newport, Mystic CT and 10 minutes to beautiful Watch Hill Beach. The best part are the hosts, Rebecca and Josh. We would go back just to hang out with them, smart, and fun and just overall nice people. Their hospitality was amazing and so was their fabulous, hearty breakfast. They directed us to new places to eat and tour. We stayed on the 2nd floor in the Colonel Ward Bedroom with a King size bed that was so beautifully made, we didnt want to sleep on it. Oops, forgot to tell about the added bonus, they own a very impressive winery on the property. Can't wait to go next summer! ||Nina & Gary
We stayed in the Governor Ward Suite for two nights. We were pleasantly surprised to find a dressing room between the bedroom and the bathroom. Awesome dual showers. Bed was comfy. The website didn't specify where this room was located. We were on the first floor in the front. We were surprised by the Inn and winery's location on the corner of two busy streets, so street noise was something we didn't anticipate. A/C in the room was loud and leaking. Our room key also opened the side door entrance to the Inn. The front door of the Inn didn't lock. My boyfriend was concerned about security, but everything turned out ok. No window treatments and the blinds didn't fit the windows fully, so felt a little on display considering this was 1st floor. Joe was a gracious host making great breakfasts and providing excellent suggestions and tips for our visit. Murals in the dining room are well done and beautiful to look at. The vineyard was small and we enjoyed the wine tasting but only liked 3 of 10 wines. Westerly white was our favorite wine. We would have preferred a one night stay but 2 nights were required. Joe has done a lot with the property since 1999. I hope he finds a buyer who will propel the business into the future while preserving the best parts of the past.
This is the ideal spot for getting away from the busy life. We loved the bed and breakfast. Gail's muffins were delicious and the waffle was truly awesome. Joe and Gail were amazing hosts. The afternoon wine tasting sessions were a treat. We have year marked this place and would love to visit again and again.
Second time staying here and visited the winery may times over the years. Stayed in the Colonel Ward Room (2nd floor) and the Sea View King (3rd floor) this last trip. All the rooms are beautiful. The breakfast are delicious always with two choices. The host are great, offer suggestions, and have info & about the area.
We like to stop by here when we are in town. Stopped by today and there was a sign on the door indicated they are temporarily closed while a new owner/Management is taking over. Hopefully They keep the winery open.
My visit to Tapped Apple Cidery & Winery was a delightful experience. The service was exceptional, with a knowledgeable and welcoming staff that added to the enjoyment of the visit. Their cider and wine offerings were simply outstanding, boasting a

This is a great park to bring the kids, especially if you have a runner. There's a fence that runs around the entire playground so you don't have to worry about being on top of your little one running into the street. And the playground is pretty big
What a lovely little theater. Very small, so close to the action. Narrow stairs on entering but manageable. Clean and well maintained. Parking at the church opposite couldn't have been easier. Easy bookings and efficient entry. Comfortable well sp
