I went out to landmade for the first time to meet up with a group of old friends. It was almost New Year's so it was pretty cold but we sat in the tent at the rear of the main building and it was warm and cozy. At the main entrance there is a small bar area which has a great aesthetic, having the distribution tanks directly behind the bar. They had a good size selection of beers with probably around a dozen +/- choices. My favorite beer was the Ziggy which was their pale ale. Great atmosphere, super friendly owner and workers behind the bar. I even had a random happenstance by learning that there were two sets of twins behind the bar, and two at the bar (myself included). I'm not sure what the chances of four sets of twins being together at one spot, unplanned, but it was a pretty cool experience. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It's a cool place to chill, have a drink, sit by a fire pit, let the kids run around, and have some good conversation. I believe they're closed From now through February but once they open again it's definitely worth the drive to check out. Can't wait to go back in the spring!.
We had an amazing evening at this location! Showed up at 5pm on a Friday in late October. The views were beautiful and our 2-year-old and 4-year-old had a blast playing on a bunch of stumps and saying hi to the donkeys. The field is fenced in which is perfect for parents of young kids to be able to relax and enjoy dinner & drinks without worrying they can run off too far. The smash burgers were yum (especially the burger sauce) and the pretzel was HUGE and delicious. We ordered a bottle of Wander and it was great, very tart and a good choice for someone who doesn’t like heavy beers or lager. Staff were friendly and helpful. By the time we left around 6:15pm the moon was out and the sunset had created some beautiful views. We will definitely be back and plan to bring some friends.
What a beautiful setup. Beer quality is outstanding, and food is not far behind as well. Place is very spacious and divided in a way that feels private and cozy. The fresh flowers were giving it a nice vibe for sure. We witnessed the person who owns the property cutting them up and setting them in beautiful arrangements around the place. We live about 1 hour away from here, and we will definitely be coming back here.
Really cool farm brewery option to have here in Maryland. My family and I visited here after trying their beer at a taproom in Virginia. The location is really pretty and comes with a vast array of seating both indoors and outside. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings and took time to explain beer styles and options with me and my parents so that we could pick beers that best suited us. The food from the kitchen was amazing. My dad actually went back for seconds he loved it so much. The "general store" on site has some cool local artisanal snack and sundry options as well. I only wish they had more canned options to go and I think it'd be cool to be able to tour the farm grounds a bit and learn about how they grow their crops and then use them in the brewing process.
Warm welcoming Community that’s local and authentic. The beers are wonderful and the food delicious! Everything is prepared fresh farm to table. Get the smashburger with farm sauce. The bar nuts are amazing so you must try a bag. The pretzel is ginormous and freshly baked perfection! The farro salad is delicious too. Loved the shandy beer! Who wouldn’t love lemonade beer in the summer?! We will be back soon!
Spacious property with lots of tables adorning the outside. You are welcomed by six miniature donkeys as you pull into Landmade. The beers are well crafted and the chef running the kitchen really has an incredible grasp of farm to table. Pickled kolrabi and the fresh bean dip comes with pickled celery and cucumbers. I recommend the smashburger with farm sauce. The pretzel is ginormous and freshly baked perfection! The farms snacks, wings and house made ranch was delicious too. Loved the summer 23 beer and the Lilllie (Italian Pilsner). The Diego is also a nice amber Mexican lager. I would definitely say this has the best beer and property layout and of course dog friendly.
Love the atmosphere and super family/kids/pet friendly. Very spacious outdoor seating all around the tap room. Bathrooms are clean. Beers on tap are fantastic and I can't wait to try the next seasonal. Glad they serve some food. Market (snacks) are good selection and something for everyone to pair with a beer. Servers are knowledgeable and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit. Cheers! UPDATE My go to place for happy hour. Beautiful outdoor scenery, new pergola seating area 😀 since our last visit. New beers on tap. Ordered the Ziggy, smooth and hoppy. Check out the fruit orchards and donkeys while enjoying your beer. Cheers!
This place has everything you need for the best Saturday out of the city. A skip and jump away from Sugarloaf Mountain, this farm makes some of the best beer I’ve had in Maryland. Sit and sip by one of their inviting fire pits (real wood) or say hello to the friendly farm animals nearby. Their food rocks too, and plenty of space to bring large groups. Just a genuinely perfect place. Will be back!!

This is one of the only "All Five" stars. I had the Turmeric Steamer for a beverage with the breakfast sandwich. On our way out, we purchased the cheese loaf and olive sourdough. Both loaves were consumed within 24 hours as you just kept wanting more
