I love L&L and the kalua pork with cabbage plate. However, the last couple of times I've ordered this I didn't get any cabbage. It's still good I just miss the veggies lol. The spam musubi is always great though!
In August I ordered and paid for one tray of short ribs, one tray of BBQ chicken (two days in advance), pick up time 4 o’clock. Two days later we went to pick up the food , they forgot about our order. After 10 minutes they brought out the food. We got home, opened the trays, the BBQ chicken looked like steamed chicken, it was so watery. I forgot to take a picture. This time we ordered BBQ chicken for dinner, got home, opened it, we got so disappointed again, this time is wrong order.
Nice cashier quick service. Big portions the guy handing out the food looked miserable and didn’t even respond when I said thanks and hoped he had a great day haha hopefully he puts a smile on for other customers yikes
First time I’ve ever instantly reviewed a restaurant within five minutes of getting my order. First, I ordered through doordash, and a glitch changed the amount of a side I wanted from 2 to 1. I called the restaurant and they kindly said they’d add the extra side. We received our order with the very sweet note in the picture. On top of the amazing customer service, the food stands alone. The kalua pork, tender, salty, greasy in the best way. The fried shrimp were crispy and very fresh. The bbq chicken is juicy, sweet and savory. And the macaroni salad is a monolith. Will recommend to everyone who enjoys good food.
I love butter with seafood but this was WAY TOO MUCH butter! I got the garlic shrimp and it smelled amazing and the shrimp tasted ok but it needed salt and there was so much butter I could only eat the top of the macaroni salad and rice. Pretty disappointing for almost $14
The sign says ok from the health department and I see why. I love L&L, but not this one. Food is always upsetting. I won't go back any more. They use to be really good... idk what happened. The costumer service is great just not the food.
I was a bit disappointed. I was super excited to eat LauLau but man, the pork was very dry and tasted like it had frostbite. My rice was cold too. Overall very disappointed, I won’t be going back to this location. My friend warned me but I figured give ‘em a try. I regret it. Lose money.
This is hands down the best place to get some authentic Hawaiian food. We always get our order in a reasonable amount of time and the food is consistent and delicious!! The price can get pretty high if you have a large family, but the serving sizes are more than enough, bigger than anything comparable. Our families favorite dish is the Kailua pork and cabbage!!! My kids always have to have a couple orders of spam musabi (spell) as well. Would highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already. We always get our orders to go so I can’t speak as to the atmosphere so much but the food is amazing.

We really enjoy the food at Gyro Bytes. I get then Chicken Schwarma and my husband gets the Beef Gyro plate. It served with a salad, really yummy rice, and smooth tasty hummus. The Baklava is as good as we had in Athens!
