Was actually surprised that my husband wanted to eat here since the only times we’ve been here the food was subpar. We just got our food and you be the judge of this is fresh. Chicken katsu was stale and hard. My spam musubi was hard. How embarrassing! Hawaiian food is not like this. Don’t let this place ruin it for you guys.

Cute place! Has a movie playing and spam decor, nice and clean, bathrooms were clean. People were very polite and friendly. Teriyaki steak and rice with egg rolls was delicious, topped off with a pineapple whip ice cream. Definitely can't wait to try more from the menu! Forgot to take a pic until we had already started eating.

This place has really gone down hill since the new ownership. Ordered it once and received the wrong item, which didn't taste great, but figured they just had an off day. Decided to give it another shot a couple weeks later and the food wasn't even edible. The katsu was so hard and overcooked the chicken pretty much crumbled, it was like eating rocks. The serving size was about half as much as I used to get (not that I would've eaten it all). The spam in the masubi tasted like rubber from being overcooked as well. It's a bummer this place is so bad now, I used to love it.

It’s got great vibes and decorations to make you feel like you’re back in Hawaii. Workers were super friendly and they had a military discount which is nice of them. She actually went out of her way to ask me. Loco moco was decent (substituted the Mac salad with steamed veggies) and the the Kahlua pork was good. Was disappointed in the spam Musubi. If you download their app, you can earn points and get free stuff later. It seems to be a very popular place because it got packed quickly and had a steady flow of people for lunchtime Sun. It’s great they have the Hawaiian canned juices too ❤️

Hawaiian cuisine is definitely as diverse as the island! The menu with L&L was very classic and to be expected from the Aloha State. The smokiness, succulent, and flavorful kalua pork was delicious and a pure pleasure. The LauLau was good, but the meat was slightly tough. Everything else with the plate lunch was quite standard - two rice, macaroni salad, and two proteins. The Saimin (literal translation "small noodles" in Cantonese) was something to come back for, the broth was pretty well balanced, good portion, and I like noodles anyway, so I can do this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Finally, there was no regret to finish up with some Pineapple upside down with Dole whip. Overall, the food was great, there were rooms for improvement on service.

Extremely disappointed in our experience at this location. To start, an employee packing orders was also on his phone, which is a sanitation issue in my opinion. Same for the employee taking orders and then turning to pack them (including opening each box) without washing their hands in between. We had placed an order through their app and showed up to pick up our food at the designated time. It was quite busy, so understandably we expected it may take a few extra minutes. We waited in the spot marked for online orders for over 30 minutes and were not acknowledged at all (even when there was no longer a line). When we finally got someone’s attention to ask about our order, we found out it was a stack of boxes that had been ready and waiting for over 15 minutes, it just hadn’t been packed or handed to us for some reason. Ended up with soggy food that we had to reheat at home.

Seems to be on a downward slide these last few months. Every time I order they're out of their most basic or staple foods. They "ran out of rice" (how?) leading to myself, and 8+ others waiting around for 45 minutes while they cooked some (again, how?). Most of us were online orders and only discovered this when we showed up to grab our food, and were told "it'll be about 10 minutes." On at least 3 other occasions they've ran out of their kalua pork and BBQ chicken. Only once did they bother to even let me know. They seem totally fine to let you drive to the shop to tell you they don't have the food for your order, but seem totally okay trying to take your money. Food was pretty good, when they had any to eat. But for the price and inconvenience there are countless better options that will respect your time.
