Not sure how I never came here in the past 12 years of being a Vail regular, I sure wish I had eaten here sooner. It's in a great location down along Gore Creek with patio seating and doors that completely open. They specialize in prime rib, so that's what we had. It was perfect. Generous portion - shared the King Arthur cut. The specialty cocktails also get high marks for presentation and flavor. Our server had us save room for the Apple strudel and it was the best Apple strudel we have ever had. This place doesn't get a lot of hype - either because it doesn't need it, or they just don't do a lot of marketing. For a traditional menu in charming setting, give this place a try.

Came here for our anniversary. Let me start by saying that you couldn't cook prime rib any better. It is absolutely cooked to perfection. Come to think about it. Everything was done to perfect. They are truly masters of there craft. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Excellent food and service, great ambience for a great drink and dinner. Restaurant is an indoor outdoor place with a view of the lake. Marrit was great and very helpful with everything. Great, great Place

We were really pleased to find this place for dinner after a long day of family snowboarding lessons. They were really busy, but still found a way to seat us quickly. The food was so good. So was the service. The arugula/beet salad and roasted chicken were both winners. Our daughter said the shrimp skewers were the best seasoned shrimp she's had. We left very happy and well fed.

Let me start by saying the service of this restaurant was superb. The views were so charming. I felt like I was in the English countryside. Definitely request a window seat when you come into the restaurant. I would recommend reservations ad f time because this place gets incredibly busy. We started off with a wedge and a French onion soup. My wedge was delicious. For the main course we split a prime rib with a baked potato. The prime rib was the perfect temperature, and the baked potato was cooked to literal perfection. For dessert we had the warm brownie as well as the crème brûlée. They were a little slammed but the service was still admirable.

Very underwhelming. We spent ~$100 for each of the three people in our party. Two of us had their signature dish - the prime rib. We both ordered medium and the dishes came out well done. One of our dishes was sent back and it came back out exactly the same. The meat was tough and very chewy. The fries and asparagus where however delicious. Dessert tasted ok but was a super small portion for the cost. Service was ok, but not the level expected for the quality of restaurant we thought we had chosen for Easter dinner. It might have been an issue with the cooking that day as there was a few other tables near us who sent back food items while we where dining in the restaurant.

While visiting the Vail area for my sister's wedding, I visited this amazing restaurant. The food was great, and the staff were attentive. My husband enjoyed the prime rib while I had the amazing salmon for a combination anniversary/birthday meal with family. The only drawback was the parking situation; no where reasonable to park without paying quite a bit then walking a winding and confusing distance.

Great vibes! Restaurant and bar are downstairs from the entrance! Food was very good and tasty! The drinks were even better! Great services and our waitress, even though she was very busy, always checked in with us if we needed anything.

We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.
