Our stay at Lamberson Guest House was amazing in every way. Our hosts, Resa and Chris were warm and engaging, the house is beautifully furnished, comfortable and spotless. The little touches like the most luxurious bed and sheets, fresh coffee in the early morning at the coffee bar, homemade treats in the parlor, happy hour outside on the patio and the best three course breakfast you can imagine made the trip extra special. Absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the spacious Elizabeth suite with picturesque views of Galena. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. To wind down our day, fresh baked cookies, happy hour drinks, and snacks were provided . To top it off, Resa, Chris, and Lucy went above and beyond as welcoming hosts! They helped us with dinner reservations and surprised us with an anniversary cake and brownie treats! They are so thoughtful and attentive. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.
Upon arrival both Chris and Resa greet you warmly and make you smile and feel welcome. |The Lamberson house sits above the town of Galena with wonderful views of the downtown below and I er to Grant Park. ||Thus 4 bedroom B&B is superbly maintained with unique furnishings that take you back to to olden days but Chris and Resa have added lots of modern touches and charm. ||At both the sumptuous breakfast and wonderful afternoon wine (with your own separate charcuterie board) you are smiling the whole way talking to Resa or Chris or watching Jack and Lucy.||This inn deserves a 5+ rating and a must stay stopover for our Galena visits.

This was our first bed and breakfast experience. It was more exciting than we expected! Beautiful, clean and welcoming! Stephanie and Jeff were fabulous hosts. They made you feel comfortable with staying around there or leaving as you wish. Loved the daily cheese tray and drink which was available anytime after 4 p.m. Thank you!
We can't say enough about how much we loved our stay at Lamberson Guest House. The owners Resa & Chris made us feel right at home. The home is beautifully adorned and meticulously maintained. My husband and I stayed the Lamberson Guest House for our one year wedding anniversary, and we are so happy we picked this spot! We were greeted upon arrival by innkeepers, Chris and Resa, and they gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us up to our room (we stayed in Maud). It was pristine! Bright, clean, cozy. They also surprised us with a little anniversary cake, which was a great touch. Every evening they had complimentary charcuterie and wine. Truly felt at home here, and will definitely be returning in the future! Would highly recommend anyone visiting Galena to stay here.
