I LOVE small family owned businesses! The food here is made with love and the folks cooking and serving were so sweet. Several of us had brisket plates, some had sausage plates and the rest had ribs. Homemade sides feom macaroni and cheese to black-eyed peas that make you want seconds. If you are anywhere close to the Bryan area, make this a stop on your food adventures.

The best restaurant in Bryan. I love the food and I love the staff. It's a perfect spot for good home feel soul food. The food is so well seasoned and always fresh. The pricing is phenomenal for the portions that you are getting.

Do you want to feel like someone is cooking just for you? That is how I felt at Lamar & Niki's. The food was so good; such huge portions! I had the hamburger steak, black eye peas, mac and cheese, and cornbread. I was so full that I didn't want dinner last night. The staff was super friendly and came by to make sure everything was well a couple of times. It was all so wonderful and homey. I highly recommend Lamar & Niki's if you are in the area. We'll be back when we are in town again.

This place was awesome! We stopped in for a Saturday lunch with a friend and had heard great things and figured we'd check it out. The staff were very sweet and friendly, and everything looked delicious. We tried the 2 and 3 meat platter and a mix of all of the sides, and they did not disappoint! Even the poundcake for dessert was wonderful. I'd highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Tried the fried chicken thigh and a leg…Amazing! The chicken was so juicy and delicious and the fried skin was delicious too!! The green beans were very tasty as well. Lamar served us and made us feel very welcomed and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town. Excellent!!

This is a must-visit if you're in the area. Everything about eating here was quintessential comfort - they were so helpful and kind at the counter, the food sent me to another heavenly dimension, and I napped right after. Even with the large portions, you want to keep eating. We ordered almost everything off their Wed menu - smothered chicken, butter beans, rice, candied yams, cabbage, and greens and it was all so good - I'm drooling even thinking about it. For dessert, we ordered their peach cobbler and their 7 Up cake slice (sort of like a lemon pound cake) and I loved how moist and rich the cake was.

My first time here, although I have driven by it 1,000 times. It was amazing the food was delicious and the people were very nice and happy. I recommend it to anyone in the area that is hungry for barbecue.

From the warm greeting to the awesome lunch, I thoroughly had a great experience. The food was just like Momma used to make. Everything was seasoned to perfection, and the fried chicken was moist and delicious!
