Good food. Nice place. Was recommended by the mortuary we went to that day to pick up my moms ashes altho we had seen it on the drive in. I love shrimp & we had different varieties. Was very good.

Absolutely LOVED the food but the service was HORRIBLE. My husband is a type 2 diabetic with kidney failure. Which means that when we go out to eat, he can't drink what's on the menu 9 times out of 10. He can't have sugary sodas, he can't have colas, and tap water is unhealthy. Most restaurants only carry diet coke (too much potassium and could literally put him in the hospital), so we usually bring drinks for him. When the waitress came to the table, I ordered a diet coke, then asked if they had a diet sprite or a sugar free Lemonade. Of course they did not, so we asked for a glass of ice and poured the soda we brought for him into the glass. A woman I'm assuming was the manager came over and told us we weren't allowed to bring in drinks. When we explained that he can't drink anything on their menu, she refused to make an exception. We ordered a drink! We weren't trying to rip them off! It was a health issue! If my husband could drink diet coke, he would have happily ordered that! The waitress told us she would bring chips and salsa and never did. She brought our food and then disappeared, only coming to check on us once right before we finished our food. Then we waited for the check for like 10 minutes. The assumed manager came over and asked if we needed something, FINALLY, and my husband asked for the check. She brought it over and then disappeared. I don't know if it's the type of place where you're expected to go to the register to pay or not, but usually when that's the case, they tell you to go to the register when you're ready. Finally, we just took the check to the register ourselves and paid. I would be willing to go back if the service was better because the food was that good, but the service was that bad that I will probably never go back. I don't know if they gave us bad service because they were mad we brought a drink for my husband, but what else were we supposed to do? It's a HEALTH ISSUE. We should have walked out when they gave us a hard time about being prepared instead of expecting them to be able to accommodate every possible issue in the whole wide world. We often go through the drink issue when we go out and always bring something for when the restaurant can't accommodate my husband's needs. We always ask if they have a sugar free Lemonade or diet sprite before he drinks what we brought for him. NO OTHER restaurant has EVER had a problem with it. I will not be back

Woke up with a hangover AGAIN .There was no wait time. I ordered a large Posole to cure the hangover. I added the habanero sauce and it sure did its job. Sheeeeessh. Definitely recommend the Posole.

Too crowded, it took 45 minutes to get a table. The taco salad was good,but not special.

It's noisy and crowded with pleasantly loud music. The service is cordial and accommodating, but it's really the food. It's fresh and interesting and amazing. I chose seafood but I was fortunate to try several entrees and they were all full of flavor. I highly recommend the fish taco and the fish ceviche.

I use to come every week until I found a hair n my food complain to death ears, came back for a 30 shrimp cocktail that was disgusting spoke to manager which had a attitude. Wouldn't give me owners time of work .save ur money don't come to this disgusting place that never attends to ur table n highly over priced. They should hold some standards before just giving anyone a management position. Maria is clearly not qualified. I make sure my managers are always attentive to my customers when leave my shops they are always happy n I make sure they return. Clearly this place isn't about the customers

Waitress completely ignored our table. She was the one with Braces I did not get her name but terrible service...

This is the good one. If you review my former reviews i talk about other Lalos Restaurant. This is much better Rylan the other one specially on the flavor of the food and size of portions
