So nice I had to try it twice. First time was a visit to Richmond. Second was a return after my girlfriend moved there. The food is ALWAYS served hot, the service is excellent, the kitchen gets the job done per usual and the bar tender understands the mission. I went all in on with 6 tacos this time. Tres Monterrey tacos and tres Super tacos plus started with the queso fundido. I punished the queso. Killed 4 of 6 tacos. The portions are all well sized and worth every penny. In addition I had 2 jumbo top shelf margaritas. Buenisimo!!! My girlfriend had the carnita fajitas and she too went to town with a frozen guava margarita. We'll explore more spots but for the time being this will be our number one Mexican restaurant.
Now I’ve had my fair share of tacos so I consider myself an expert (🤷🏼♀️ aren’t we all) and this place understands the assignment. We ordered the chicken avocado tacos and the Tex Mex fajitas. SUPER delicious and flavorful. We made it in time for happy hour too so that made this trip even better 😬. Those margaritas are not to be played with. At just $5 you can get lit by yourself with their complimentary chips and salsa (by the way the chips were fresh and warm, just how I like it). The entire restaurant is a vibe. Best spot for date night or an outing with your friends. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. Will we return??? What kind of question is that? Duh 🙄
Update: Came on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday 🌮😜) around 430/5 and it wasn’t too busy. Food was amazing and we had the same waitress. I absolutely love this place.
We loved our dinner here. I ordered the enchilada sampler and my partner got the chimichanga with beef tips. Food was delicious and our server was so sweet!
Nice, tasty meal, but not what I would call spectacular for the price. I had the Sopa de mar and once it cooled down enough to eat, the broth was tasty. It had one, may two scallops, maybe two shrimp, and three or four chunks of white fish (I'm guessing tilapia?) Not really what I would have expected for $16.
Service was, um, unhurried, even though the place was not crowded.
Go at least once and maybe you will love it. Or maybe you will simply say you have been there but prefer elsewhere...
Stopped for lunch while at one of the museums across the street! Beautiful little restaurant, and all the people were so kind, especially to my kids. The kids menu was great and all the prices were very reasonable. The food was really tasty. Overall, it was a great experience, and I was really glad we ended up walking over. Highly recommend!!!
We were lucky to have wandered in here from the museum. Everything was prepared perfectly from the specialty enchiladas down to the coffee. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such melt in your mouth chicken. Great atmosphere and staff.
Waiter was fast and very polite and helpful. Food was delicious.
I recently dined at Lalo's Cocina based on a friend's recommendation and had a…. buggy experience.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and our waitress was both lovely and attentive. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and my main course, fish tacos with a side of black beans instead of refried beans due to my pescatarian preference (big mistake).
While the fish tacos were decent, unfortunately, my experience took an unexpected turn when I discovered a large bug in my black beans. Naturally, I brought it to the attention of our waitress, who promptly apologized and took action.
To their credit, the entire meal was comped, and the staff seemed genuinely concerned about the situation. However, I then had a uncomfortable encounter with what I assume was the owner or manager. While apologetic, he was defensive and insisted the bug likely fell into the beans and was not cooked. To emphasize this, he shoved the bug in my face and tore the bug in half in front of us, which I found unnecessary.
In the end, my friends and I decided not to continue with our meal, but we did finish our drinks. We left the restaurant with a free meal, but the unexpected addition of "Bug Cuisine" wasn't on my dining bucket list.
Kayâs Breakfast and Lunch is a really warm and cozy food shop, with delicious lunch and best of all, breakfast. I love how cozy the interior is. I order breakfast, since I love breakfast any time of the day. They have condiments and hot sauce lined
Pennyâs is a hidden gem that we are so glad we found out about! This place is our new favorite restaurant in Richmond!! The food is hands down amazing. We started dinner with the marinated olives and whipped ricotta - both delicious! For our entree
I was blown away by this place. The owner was so kind and explained the dishes. The whole place is vegan/vegetarian - no meat They were out of the bread for the plate so he made us a sandwich for it and it was delicious! The food here is authentic

This place is one of the best spots in Richmond. The people who work there are so good at what they do and the food is amazing every time. You have to check it out. These two dishes are the pot pie (good lord that's good) and the pork belly burnt end
Let me start out by saying this establishment is a MUST for anyone in the area. We travel weekly for our job so we try different restaurants weekly in several states. By far, Buttermilk and Honey is officially our number one favorite restaurant in al
We found Joe's Inn when looking for a close-by restaurant for Altria Theater. It's only 5 minutes away by car.
Joe's Inn is a great little corner restaurant with a cool vibe. We went on a Friday night at dinner and although they were crazy-busy, the
I enjoyed eating here and the prices are fairly low compared with the other places around here. I got the wings and the pork basil rice which came up to ~$20. The wings are actually fairly good and the rice had a nice taste, making this a great spot
Never been so this was my first time going but worth going again. The food was fresh and my bake potatoe was so good! Very friendly staff and just an all around good experience.
My wife and I stopped in last night to try our first ever glass of mead. We tried the ginger and it was delicious! The atmosphere was very cozy and everyone was very friendly. Plus, I love their mission of supporting local beekeepers. Thank you Bill

The VMFA outdoor art collection is every bit as impressive ... take the time to wander the sculptures including works by world famous artists including Henry Moore, Kehinde Wiley, Dale Chihuly, and Jaume Plensa amongst many others.
Vendor Review: Soho Photos
As a photographer, I enjoy capturing moments at venues that offer flexibility. Having both indoor and outdoor options for couples, especially during the peak season from March to November, adds to the appeal. The well-kept
