The service desk lady was extremely nice as well as opinionated in her passion and love for the motel.
When we first arrived right off I noticed how cleans and well kept was the outside. And the owner, and staff were professional, wonderful, polite, and kind. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well designed. The beds and covers were clean and smelled fresh. The view outside is amazing, beautiful and tranquil. You can fish off the lake dock. The laundry room nice and neat, and clean. The tenants are kind and pretty much keep to themselves and. There's no people loitering and hanging outside its very nice and quite. The WiFi cable quality is good, AC runs good, fresh and clean linens, ducks are cute, great parking spaces, landscape, just all around a great motel, and I enjoy every moment of being here. Thank you Lakmar Motel for making me feel comfortable, important, and welcomed. PL
The lady at the front desk is nice and helpful. Otherwise the noise of construction in the room next to ours is loud. Paying $80 a night ($590 weekly) while all the others pay $370 a week makes us feel segregated.
I love this place. It feels just like home. It's the perfect location and the owner and staff are exceptional people. The lodgers are all like family. I stay here in a pretty regular basis. Your treated like family. You're right on the lake with a beautiful view. Thanks Ish, and Sandy... YALL ARE GREAT
My brother and I recently traveled to Florida to visit with our father and needed a quiet, comfortable, clean, safe place to stay. This place definitely fit the bill! At first glance I wasn't so sure. However, after a few minutes, I understood the reviews I had read when making the decision to stay here. It is an old mom-n-pop place that needs a face lift. The couple that owns/runs it are the nicest folks! Our room was really half of a duplex with two double beds, a bath and a kitchenette. It was clean, quiet, safe and comfortable and Cheryl made sure that our trash was picked up every day and that we had fresh towels. The mattresses and bed clothes were new -- probably not more than six months old -- and comfortable. When we go back to that part of the state, I will definitely be staying there again. We really enjoyed it!
Decent place to stay at a weekly rate. Enjoy the size of the room I rent, as I had a lot of stuff to bring in. Decently maintained and relatively clean. NO BED BUGS or any other critters that I've seen inside. The desk lady is super helpful and very polite. There's a coin operated laundry on site. Also some rooms have kitchens (includes fridge, stove, microwave and sink for dishes). The others have microwaves, a cabinet and minifridge. WiFi and cable can be accessed from the rooms farthest from the office. Some things are a little outdated or slightly dilapidated, but it adds to the charm in a way. Mostly a quiet little area.
They quote you one price and charge you another!! Plus they had only cleaned this room once in. 12 days -0 stars! I'm from the UK and the manager seemed very nice. I have a trusting nature and didn't check my paperwork until later. When I realized her error I immediately brought it to her attention but she kept giving me excuse after excuse. I am so fed up. I hope no other visitor has to go through This!!
This place is a hole... I checked in in a hurry. My daughter was having a baby so I didn't look around much. I came back a few hours later to get some rest. We are enjoying our 3rd year as a FBC Winter Haven member. The customer service is great and the boats are always clean and well maintained. The Chain of Lakes is a pleasant area to boat. We have also used boats at many other reciprocal salt water
Simply adorable I think they have a large variety of different items for sale. They even have a vitamin section and a food area wear there are food items to purchase. They offer free coffee and cold water to there customers. They are very kind people
