Haven't been here in years. Have called to book, but have been told rules changed. No more than 4 per site period. We take care of my mom and have Always takes our 2 grandaughters which we have quite often, and our dogs. Had never had an issue booking. I have also been told This even recently, so not just a Covid thing. This use to be one of our our favorite campgrounds. We have cooked and shared some of the famous Pumpkin Burgers with others there. The fall has Always been our favorite time there. It seems the new owner isnt so much in customer service. It won't be long, and this campground won't be making any money. Last I checked the rates went up a lot too. Could this be why? I am glad some people seem to like it, but will it be enough?

Our first stay in our first RV Journey. Rick was great setting me up with the booking and confirming when I left a message about checking out. Glen helped me when I arrived he was so wonderful he gave me all the information I needed went with us to the site helped us with all our questions and was super informative. In my personal experience I stood there two nights and I loved it. Coming from new york city where people are rude and have no patience. Lancaster Ohio was great to us and this site was the first of a great experience.

This rv park is quiet and peaceful. The owner is very helpful and kind. The rates are very well priced. The scuba adventure does have its attractions. However, they could be cleaned up a bit. The park does fill tanks for about the average price. And 15$ a day to dive per diver. The reason for the 3 is the limited space around the camping sites, although behind the sites do have some room. I'm very pleased with this RV Park I do recommend.

Stayed a week, Sunday to Sunday. This was a nice little RV Park! Spaces are decent size and park overall was quiet. There's a great swimming area with a jump platform and slide - which the kids took advantage of! The views around the campground are pretty and you feel very secluded, which is an added bonus to me. The bathrooms/bath house is very clean. The only thing I would improve on is the playground for the kids to play on. Overall though we would definitely stay again!

I would 1000% recommend visiting here everyone that worked there are sweethearts and will help you with anything you need or questions you have. I enjoyed taking walks, going fishing, swimming, boating, cooking out, and even going on walks. Everyday I would wake up and look at this beautiful view such a great rv park!!!!

This place will scam you. Get everything in writing of your checkout dates and make sure you keep them. They scammed us out of time in our rv slot. Also Rick is a rude person who try’s to pick a fight with anyone who says he’s wrong. The owner takes employee side and will not return calls. Don’t waste you hard earned money here find some where else to stay like burr oaks.

Seasonal Campers Beware! The owner, Jeremy, is decreasing the number of seasonal sites and changing them to either flip weekly or make year round. Lots of year round campers. It's well on its way to becoming nothing more than a trailor park. If you want to take a shower...rent a hotel room and run up there ...because the water pressure sucks. Whenever there is an issue with water or electric the owner always blames it on your unit. Traveled Florida and 4 parks with no water pressure issues with our Class A, until we pulled into our seasonal site at Lakeview and bam..no water pressure. Took it to another campground in the bend of the Ohio River, bam...water pressure again. I was told by owner.."it's OK coming out of the faucet"! Duh! You must have an issue with your RV! Of course it is....we had water pressure everywhere else!!! LOL. Gotta have enough pressure to work a coach, not wash your hands!! Then was told, someone must be doing laundry, it decreases the water pressure (there are only 2 washers). Be sure to coordinate your shower with all the other campers doing laundry so your not left with shampoo in your hair or trying to fill your stock pot! WiFi...it's there. You can see the connection. That's about it...take a hotspot or use your phone to stream with! It's a joke!! The owner is a dictator who tries to use the campground rules to support his own bias agenda. The rules are not applied consistently to everyone in the campground. If he likes you and your thought processes align with his, the rules don't apply. BUT...if you happen to disagree with his beliefs...bam...he applies his rules, no formal warning, and your out! He will not listen and discuss issues and believes lies in order to fit his agenda. He ignores things he doesn't want to hear. He does not like to be contacted....so beware! Other seasonal campers have said they don't contact the owner in fear of being kicked out! Wow... that's really time away isnt it! FEAR! Was told we contacted him too frequently....would you if you couldn't take a shower? Are you a customer who has paid their seasonal fees and electric consistently? Have you improved the landscaping of your site on your own dime? Very uncooperative with any contact. Was told he was bothered with being contacted. Rick, the camp manager, will take care of your daily issues but is held under a tight thumb by the owner. Remember..this campground is located in the heart of conservative Ohio and this campground takes it to the next level. If you want to see a campground that allows bias....take a look at what flags you see and the ones you don't. Do not express any difference of opinion, make it known with full timers, with those that have bias flags or they will be sure to bully and make up lies in order to cause DRAMA with Jeremy the owner. Was there for 4 years as seasonal campers, made improvements to site with landscaping, mowed our grass to keep it neat and tidy and no issues were communicated to us until someone who disagreed with the fact that "All Are Welcome" in our home philosophy was realized. Made false claims in order to cause DRAMA! Then...with no other notice of any rule infraction prior...bam you are out..no warning..no due process...where eviction laws followed?...lies put forth were believed by Owner due to other reasons besides rule infractions that weren't ever formally communicated! "Make Lakeview Great Again" should be their tag line!

Decent location, nice lake, but that is it. Rick is the most unfriendly human that runs this dump. They will chase people around if you are not going to stay there long term. If you are planning to stay overnight or just not long at all, go somewhere else. Cause they don't want you and will make sure that you know about it. Retire already and sell off your campsite, jerks.

It's an amazing historical site. It has a 6 story working grist mill powered by a 29 foot water wheel spun by the power of the head waters of the Hocking River it is a must see. Go on the last Sunday of the month and they actually mill grain.

Great little hike! We mostly did the orange loop with the blue up to the top. We started to follow the blue to the other hill, but turned back because of time and wasn't sure how long it would take. Went and hiked before going to Amanda Roller Rink w
