Lakeview Inn Centralia - Motel in Centralia - 1325 Lakeshore Dr, USA

This Inn is listed as a 2 star resort and that's a joke. It should be rated as at the very least a 3 or 4 star based on the location, the service, and the rooms. First and foremost, these rooms are spotless and cleaned very well. The owners of this place did not hold back with the beds. I have traveled extensively throughout the last 40 years and having a great comfortable bed to myself and many others is more important than there being a pool or giant bars of soap or a ton of amenities that the majority of travelers never use anyway. These beds will exceed your expectations! The rooms are stocked with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and coffee, and every room has a view of the lake. The grounds are well maintained and the owners obviously take pride in providing their guests with a safe, quiet, and friendly atmosphere for a price that by far is the best value you will find .anywhere in this town and beyond. They go above and beyond what most places. I had left behind medicine and they took the time to ship it back home to me. I was amazed. I highly recommend the Lakeview Inn Centralia for both short and long stays. You won't find any better!

We had a really good experience at this family motel. Friendly service, very comfy bed, nice view of lake from room. A step back in time. The cleaning smell was a little strong but after opening windows it disappeared quickly. Room was very clean. We would stay again! Thank you.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Staff was friendly. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the rooms are remodeled and clean. We were on the ground floor, and there’s a back door in the room to go out to the lake. We sat out back and watched the sunset. The beds were good, pillows were good, the fridge worked well, there was a microwave, and a coffee pot. Will definitely stay here again!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called the number on their website for some basic information and the guy answers, "what do you want?" I asked if they had any rooms available and he said, "yes, is that all you want?" Then tells me, "you can get the rest of your information on our website." And hangs up. Surprised they get any business at all with an attitude like that. 😅👎

Apparently they are willing to sell your room to somebody else if you don't show up before midnight. So if you want to show up at a hotel and not have a room by all means reserve this place.

We were a little nervous about what the motel would be like since it was quite inexpensive, so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see that it appeared the exterior had been recently painted and everything looked clean. The manager (owner?) was very friendly at check in and made sure we were ok with an upstairs room since there is no elevator. The room was definitely old, but clean with a comfortable mattress, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The rooms all have a view of the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to return from our all day conference to find fresh towels, replenished coffee and toiletries and the bed made. We have stayed in many much more expensive rooms in large hotel chains that no longer provide daily room service since covid. At this time there is no breakfast provided, but we knew that ahead of time and brought something to fix in the microwave both mornings. We would definitely recommend this motel, just don’t expect anything fancy.

Decent hotel just off the interstate. Room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the noise from the highway. Thankfully I had some ear plugs with me or the traffic noise would have kept me awake.
