Lakeview Inn - Motel in Willmar - 1212 North Business Highway 71, USA

From the outside the place looks regular. Surprisingly the rooms are ridiculously super nice and super clean. The service/ front desk, super helpful and committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The staff and ownership is A1/ top tier. I stay here every time I come to town. As an artist, cleanliness and comfort is something I can never sacrifice. This place feels the same. This is the best motel in the area believe it or not. Go see for yourself....

Room has no privacy curtains. Every wall and counter tops were damaged. Both bathroom and main doors were damaged. Bathroom counter top has fire damage. Floor incredibly dirty. Front desk gave my room to another person in error on my 2nd night who damaged the door when attempting to enter. Slept in my sleeping bag, did not want to risk using the bed. I was in town for a first responder class and couldn't afford anything else at the time. I regret not just sleeping in my car. Do Not lodge here, unsafe and unsound. Edit: Phone also doesn't work

The room was outdated, but the beds were new very comfortable and it was really clean. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to stay.

So the morning woman in office seemed like she was better than anyone and just treats guests like dirt, when I asked about housekeeping people she was like they are live ins, I mean how rude to talk about co-workers that way, honestly I think owner needs to fire her and hire someone with a personality. Evening girl was pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping were great, very pleasant and helpful and does an awesome job, I had fresh towels everyday and were very helpful when I asked a question, I enjoyed speaking with them, funny. The owner needs to give them a raise, as it seems like they do everything. Owner needs to spend money on motel to fix things and update it, I mean the 60’s called they want their outdated stuff back. No breakfast there like it says. Wi-fi depending on where u are at. I reserved a non smoking room and they put me in a smoking room. Musty. They could of compensated me for my troubles but nope they don’t care. Seriously people I honestly think take all smoking rooms away. So now to other guests some stay here by the week or whatever, but they play music loud and fight with each other. They need to make people pay with a card and not let some people pay with cash. This place for the price should honestly have better people but nope. I stayed here only because it was cheap and I did job interviews and house hunting. So because of longer term I needed cheap but only thing positive was that rooms were clean thanks to housekeeping, and helpful when I had questions, other than that nope.

Very good price for two nights. Sadly sense COVID, no breakfast. Ended up with CA king bed in room, was said it was a queen bed! Bed was not comfortable enough. Size of room just fine. Room is need of some repairs. Bathroom door won't shut. Part of wall by bathtub shows signs of water damage. Has microwave and over size refrigerator. Service was great.

Service was quick. Front desk got us checked into our room fast. But if you’re thinking about staying here for a night, good luck. Our neighbors were likely on drugs screaming at the top of their lungs and slamming doors ALL night. I even banged on the wall in an attempt to try and let them acknowledge we were trying to sleep but it didn’t help at all

There is no hot water in room 153. Very nasty MOTEL. There was a house party with huge speakers that have base playing until I finally called the cops AT MIDNIGHT. I tried to reach out to the front desk he was to scared to even go see what room it was in fear of confrontation. What kind of MOTEL is this. Never again will I stay here. Also pop machine is broke it just steals your money with no option of refund.

Front desk is good. Bring protection. Neighbors belong on Cops episodes... Your now in the hood. The owner "refunded" 6 out of the 7 days we paid for and said he is remodeling. We are currently waiting for this refund. We should not have had to pay anything. Hopefully the place improves as planned. If the refund comes I will keep you all updated.
