Laketown Wharf Resort by Emerald View Resorts - Condominium complex in Panama City Beach - 9902 S Thomas Dr, USA

The place looks great driving in but when you hit the floors, rooms and elevators it tells a different story. It's outdated and rusted out especially the elevators. The rooms and the hallways smell of mold and urination. They also have roaches! There's only one receptionist checking folks in! Each floor should have luggage carts to accommodate the guest with the help of carrying luggage and or groceries. There's more than enough room in the hallway elevators to put them off into the corner wall empty areas. They also make you pay an extra fee of $105.00 for a parking passes and wrists bands to park on the property that you rented out room(s) and to use said amenities like the pools and gym. The pool hours need to be 24 hrs instead of closing at 10pm. They also need to have clearer directions on getting to said amenities like the kiddie pool. It'll have you walk into a dead-end or stairwell.

The check in process is not good at all Two people. He king in all the guest for wrist band and parking passes. We waited almost an hour in line. The pool area is not kept up. We left the pool Saturday evening at 5 there was cups and trash everywhere. Returned on Sunday morning at 11 and the trash was still there along with all the plastic cups. If they do t keep up the pool area makes you wonder if the pool is Maintained. Lots of staff at pool checking armbands but the one guy walked past two plastic cups floating in the pool. Our condo was great.

the most HORRIBLE experience my family and i have ever experienced. The employees were horrible. They do not care about the customers paying money to stay at this disgusting horrible resort. They just steal your money. If your looking for a nice resort for vacation DO NOT BOOK HERE. They shut the water off to the ice machines on purpose so you had to go out and buy your own ice FOR YOUR ROOM YOU PAY FOR. You have to pay extra to get into the pools it isnt included in the price of your room which is ridiculous. In the description is says pool bar and grill dont let them fool you they were closed the whole week we were there. Security kept closing the pool also. and you arent allowed to have any drinks by the pool and if you did you got kicked out.. well they only yelled at certain people for it not everyone. Anything you had wrong with your room the employees ignored you. and to top it off my brother got his brand new tennis shoes stolen probably from room service who didnt even clean the disgusting rooms. NEVER STAY HERE they lie and steal your money the description for this disgusting place is all lies. The best thing for it is for this place to close dont waste your money.

When I went to my room, it was nice, clean, and neat. They have 2 big beds, bunk bed, a kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry. One of our couch (the living room) can turn into the bed, how cool is that!! They also have a balcony with a great view of the beach. We had to wear a wristband in order to get in (people who are under 12 will not wristband). They had 3 pools, one In the ground, one in the top, and one in the middle. The first one had a hot tub, a pool that was 2 - 5 feet, and the other was 5 feet. On the 5 feet pool, 3 of my friends went to the 5 feet pool , ( there were 2 minors and 1 adult) a person had an audacity to call a minor the b word, and made sexual jokes on the adult. Which didn’t make us safe… luckily they got out of the pool and went to the other pool. My only complaint is that the TV (in the living room) didn’t work, the bed was hard which made my back kinda hurt, and the elevator was slow or it was constantly full… overall it’s a good hotel I guess….

Laketown Wharf has really cracked down on making sure you have your wristbands and parking passes visible. This seemed to have really helped the availability of all the amenities. Elevators are SUPER slow but aside from that I had no complaints. The staff is friendly and the complex is huge. There are multiple pools, restaurants & even a light show over their "lake" every night. The location for this complex is great because you can walk a lot of places. Beach access is easy as long as you don't mind crossing the street. Traffic on the street between you & the ocean can be a little obnoxious.

My friend booked a unit through VRBO, and we stayed from Friday until Monday. Upon arrival, the check-in line was outrageous. Initially, there was only one person checking people in, but eventually, a second person came out. The staff seemed rushed and quickly went through the numerous rules of the resort. We were required to wear wristbands, with a $100 replacement fee if lost. After a 35-minute wait to check in, we had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the elevator. Be warned: multiple elevators do not work at this facility. The unit itself was nice, but we were only provided with one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels, which I found quite inconvenient for a rental. The beach is across the street, but due to the elevator issues, it can take 30-40 minutes to get downstairs, especially if you’re on a higher floor. Additionally, the owner did not provide us with the beach code, so we had to ask other residents. After returning from the beach, there was only one shower to rinse off sand, and the line was so long it almost reached the street, so we skipped it. Whenever you enter or exit the building, the security guard requires you to roll down all your windows to show your wristbands. You cannot access the property without them, and you must wear them for your entire stay. My advice? Do. Not. Stay. Here. There are better options in Panama City Beach.

I give this resort a 10/10! Our family of 5 loved everything about the place. Before, we came to PCB I looked at all the reviews on here.. most were negative. I never felt any negative energy with any security guard or person that worked at the resort. The only downside was the elevators, which I expected them be slow in the middle of June. Everything you need is right at the resort. There was no need in driving and you also have private beach access. If you want an honest opinion take it from me WE LOVED IT AND WILL BE BACK! 💙🌊🪸

We stay in unit 734 it was nice size for our bunch, BUT it was not the cleanest there was hair in all the draws in kitchen and master bath. I had to take all cookware and silverware and run thru the dishwasher, there was pots pure nasty. OHHHH and the nasty nasty part do not take a black light to your room ever!!! There was pee plastered all over the walls around toilet totally gross, a handprint above toilet on wall, perfect butt print on edge of tub and on kitchen table so gross. I cloroxed the table it was gross what came off it, but I done this until cloth came clean. The couch in living room is very old and wore out springs were coming through and very uncomfortable to sit on. We had to go to Sams and buy chairs to sit on this costed us about 250.00. I had to purchase potholders & a tea pitcher. There was no cookie sheets and I had to go buy pans to use in oven to cook with. ||You can also forget getting in touch with owner, a number is provided but he does not answer nor call back. He only communicated by email. Also, we were getting so hot at night we would turn air down at night and during the night then that morning it would be back up to 74 we turned it back down it wasn't no time it was back up to 74 without anyone touching it, apparently owner was controlling the thermostat from wherever. We had to put it on hold in order for us to sleep without burning up. Although resort was nice it was extremely busy waaaaay to many people you can forget the elevators we had to carry everything up a flight of stairs to our room that was awful, I even feel on the steps. Not good for someone with back and knee problems. There was a long walk and a lot of steps to everything! NOW, the workers there where very nice and great but I would NEVER RECOMMEND RENTING ANYTHING FROM LAKE TOWN RESORT BY ANELIYA'S RENTALS, they are the absolute WORST we have ever rented from.
