I went for the first time and it's truly a locals spot. The Bartender was welcoming and greeted me as i walked in. The bar seemed fully stocked and for the Wednesday night Steppers set, there were some Steppers in there. Casual to comfortable dancing attire was acceptable. The cocktails were reasonably priced. It appeared to be a Black-Owned business and I was glad to see people patronizing this establishment.
I love how they make my Cranberry & coke beverage. Love the music, the D.J. & the bartenders are very attentive and fun. Everyone has as a great time. I have been coming there for years.
Thank ☺️ You all staff and owner for your hospitality.
Lakeside Lounge is a great little bar that has been in Oakland for decades! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming! The people are friendly and bartenders are fantastic! I am Piedpiperkj, and I perform at the Lakeside every third Wednesday of the month! The musicians with whom I work, ar Lorenzo Hawkins and Ranzel Merritt. There is also Live blues band every Sunday night, and it is always LIT! There are activities happening Wednesday thru Sunday, something for everyone!
Had a very nice experience with the older crowd there and
Also known as the Head Quarters... HomeBase. Town Business. Drinks are cool and food when parties are present.
My opinion overall for a bar it's not bad it's very friendly but it's an attraction for younger people now. That part I don't like! I used to go at least once a week.... 3 days ago was the first time I had been there in 6 months due to the younger crowd they are allowing to come in🙄
On Thursday Nights they have Karoke and I love going there the drinks are reasonably priced
Great spot to stop for a game. They had several TVs and they were playing multiple games. Of course at the 4th quarter, they changed all the TVs to the warriors game. It felt like a good mix of people in the place. There is a coin-op pool table. The
Came here for the happy hour and it did not disappoint. This was the one of the only places around with a happy hour until 8pm. The drinks were phenomenal and really exceeded our expectations. If youâre looking for a good bar look no further. This
This bar/lounge has a wonderful atmosphere with plenty of art and some plants along the walls. Itâs a classy ambiance while definitely keeping it accessible. The cocktails and mocktails are very creative and tasty, the bartenders are experts! This

Cozy, unpretentious yoga studio for people of all ages and abilities. I've only gone to this location one time so far but the instructor was great. Lots of natural light and a nice waiting area with clean restrooms and water available. Highly recomme
We went at 8pm and ordered a 6-piece buffalo wing and a pepperoni pizza. There was one man who was working the front and kitchen. He was extremely kind and friendly, and the food was ready quickly. We wish we had ordered more than 6 wings, as they we
I just had the most amazing meal at Casa Borinquena, and I can't wait to share my experience! The potato balls were seriously tasty, especially with that sauce they came with. And let's talk about the chicken skewer â it was packed with flavor and
Love to support small business inspired by family and culture and led by strong women! Highly recommend the latiya latte and champorado mocha (as well as their chicken empanada) ð we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with co-owner Ari and l
Dined outside in their cute parklet with bar height tables. Loved the pandan cold brew, don't know of another place that has this! Got a tocino silog with an extra egg and side of rice which together was good enough for two... along with some ube waf
My first time at The Sound Room. I went for my birthday as I LOVE jazz and live bands. I loved the vibe here. Seemed like most of the people there were regulars, which I wouldn't mind being a part of now that I know it's a non-profit supporting local
Best taco truck in East Oakland!
The service is excellent and it goes on par with the quality and food taste.
It's a popular spot specifically on the weekend, but there is plenty of parking and they try to get you in and out in no time.
I love tha
Delicious buttermilk biscuit egg sandwich with avocado, caramelized onions with a side of roasted rosemary red potatoes coupled with a large lavender latte! At 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, this place was busy, but not overly busy. I was able to easily or
A must visit every time Iâm in Oakland.
Stopped by before a concert at the Fox on a Monday night. There were lots of open seats, love their back patio. They have heaters but it was warm enough without them. We ordered at the bar and our drinks and
Not only a great chocolate shop but a great coffee shop as well. This little boutique on College Ave had been flying beneath my radar until I stumbled in the other day.
The place has the fare one expects at a good coffee shop, a selection of coffe
