Lakeside inn - Motel in Lake St Louis - 10600 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, USA

My charger was plugged into the lamp and it almost caught on fire along with the charging block. There were holes in the blankets, scratches and stains all over the doors and the walls, red paint (more like blood) on the heater, poop stains in the toilets, and the customer service was rude. The “customer service” was banging on our door at 10AM and then asked “Toilet paper? No?” And closed the door for us- (what?) we told the front desk and they said it was the way WE set it up, it was our wires that had a problem, and they thought they were amazing (excuse me?) it also reeked of a mold smell they claimed to be cleaning supplies.

20 year old son has stayed multiple times cross country. Hotel rejected fourth trip night of stay with no issue and 5 hours away from home. Staff would not allow parent to back room with credit card. Staff argued someone else booked room and not same loyal adult customer. Staff was extremely rude and condescending . Staff argued they don’t keep records of loyal customers. 0 stars.

My family and I have only been in a room for an hour and this place is TERRIBLE!!!! The AC unit barely blows any air out of it and it’s not very cold at all. It is 113° out today and there’s no way that room is going to be cool at all today. I have already killed two spiders within the first 10 minutes of being there. And then not to mention the cable does not work at all. This is not starting out to be a very good stay.

Paid 85 for one night but the room was poorly taken care of. Ceiling was falling in on one side. Bedding was clean but stained Bathroom was in need of repair handle on toilet was about to fall off. Worst place I’ve stayed in! Never again. If we hadn’t been so tired we’d of moved on down the road.

I’m here for few weeks of work First time we got here lady gave us a room that was already in use Today 7-1-23 at 12am Indian lady came and just open the door and try kick us out saying we shouldn’t be here she kept asking for my name I told her room under my boss Name check you system I go to front she finally found the paperwork and just says sorry After she open door middle of the night trying kick us out She was so rude!

Front desk staff are very nice and helpful

I guess you get what you pay for this is a cheap place to spend the night the Wi-Fi doesn't work the AC air is okay it's convenient if you're looking for the Holiday Inn this is not it
