I ordered a hot lobster roll. It was a little bit small for 36$ imo. I love sweet potato fries so I'm happy that was an option. The sweet potato fries were okay, crispy but oily at the same time. The lobster was fresh and was cooked well. The bun was a cheap hot dog bun you would buy at dollar general. Nice lakeside location with plenty of outdoor seating at picnic tables. The service was good and attentive. Nothing on the menu about dietary substitutions and I did not ask.
I didnt eat so I can't rate food. Just moved in down the road..love that I can walk here.! On the lake. Great views. Patio seating. Live music when I visited. He was FAB! PERFECT PRE HOLIDAY VIBES HERE!
Delicious food and a great view of the lake from the lower level of the back deck. Beautiful sunset views, weather permitting. The traditional Mule drinks were made with just the right amounts of everything--very tasty. The turkey Reuben is always good and the boneless buffalo wings were just spicy enough.
This place was recommended by the the local celebrity, The Viral Viking. It's clean and has a great atmosphere. The bartender and manager have a fantastic dynamic that make it feel like home. The swiss mushroom burger was very tasty on its brioche bun! Super light and fluffy. The calamari was deep fried to perfection. Extra crispy with out being over cooked. The chicken breast was juicy and the zucchini were grown locally with a lovely seasoning. Definitely stop by!
Food was okay. Shrimp scampi had all of 5 shrimp in it. Went to reheat the chicken tenders the next day and found that they had not been cooked all the way through. Meal felt pretty pricey for what we got. Service was pretty slow, despite there only being half a dozen tables or so. Biggest issue was the bar staff not only allowing someone to openly vape, but 3 staff members sitting and socializing with this person while it happened.
Super excited we found this gem. The lobster roll was my first and it was divine! I didn’t expect to like the clam chowder, but it was so good! The kids even enjoyed it! Apparently it’s made fresh daily and that attention and preparation really shows. The staff was great and you can’t beat the lake view.
Loved it ! Small crowd. Live music - Talented guy playing guitar singing GREAT, classic oldies !! They let me buy my Sam Adam's beer glass for $5 - as a Souvenir of my Memories of a FABULOUS SUMMER in Boston.. Thanks !! I'll go back !!
BEWARE of this place. Nowhere on the menu or in the restaurant it was mentioned that gratuity would be added. We weren’t a huge group or anything just me and my wife. We both had a drink and a sandwich. The food was okay not great either. The surprise came in with the bill - 40% gratuity???? When asked the waiter just said we don’t get tipped off anymore so the owner has told us it’s ok to add gratuity but who adds 40% for 2 people. We only sat there for maybe 45-50 mins, so it’s not that we were spending too much time with little food to enjoy the views. The owner needs to rectify this. I should have read some reviews before going that’s my bad. Someone did mention they were ripped off 51% gratuity. Definitely never going back there.
