We came in to buy a new gas grill. We had one in mind before we walked in the door but wanted to look around at their inventory. Kelly asked us if we needed any help. She was very knowledgeable about the different types of grills they had and answered all of our questions with great confidence! The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because when we came back in to get drip pans for the grill and then wanted to take a look at some bird seed and suet, we had an associate that followed us around like a puppy dog even though we told him several times we were all set and weren't in need of any other help.

Has a decently local feel for a chain hardware, and not overly pricy. Watch for coupons for some deep discounts. They have a couple good "old guys" working there who know stuff.

Wonderful helpful staff ready to assist you in finding what you are looking for in your household needs. Well supplied shelves with products that you were looking for. Easy to find off Mitchell Street.

I love this store. The people here are friendly without being "in your face about it." The store is the perfect size to find what you need fast and they only carry quality tools and material. The hostess store was loved and missed leaving Ace with big shoes to fill, in this case a building. I believe they did a damn good job resurrecting this location.

We live on the south end of Cadillac and I tell you you couldn't ask for a better group of people in a hardware store! Everyone there is so sweet, helpful, polite, knowledgeable and actually happy to see you. It beats having to go all the way to the North end fight the big stores and end up walking out without anything and disgusted because it took you 20 minutes to find somebody to tell you that they didn't have what you wanted in the first place. I will never go to the the other places again because it's true, Ace is the place!
